Ordered same day with same spec and same estimated delivery date. Going to Warrington, UK. The shipment got stuck in Korea for 12 hours due to a mechanical fault (!) but is now in Kazakhstan.

Thanks! I hope my Macbook air is in the same plane. Yeah, I heard that there was deep fog in Incheon so many planes were delayed.

Update: I just realized that the American keyboard layout for my macbook air could be delaying the delivery. I just hope not. (I don't understand why mine says only "billing information received".)

Just recieved an email from apple saying this:

We are happy to advise you that your order is now in transit.

For your convenience you will receive your products in one single delivery.
Your items are shipping from different locations and will be merged together before delivery.

Thats not very convenient at all!! Wish they told me this before. but got a delivery date for Monday so all is not lost!

Yours seems to be travelling faster than mine! Have you now got carrier details?
My timescale is:
Ordered 28 October (expected delivery 12th)
Shipped 1 November
Email update similar to yours but no quicker delivery date: 2 November
Since then zilch, but the email of 2nd said 'up to 5 working days' for carrier details to be updated so I've just got to be patient-but I'm not!
Pleased to say the return of my base 13.3 MBA to Apple Cambridge within the 14 day returns period went smoothly with card-credit in the shop.
I'll let you know if anything changes.

this just sucks. ordered 11.6 inch base model on the 30th in Apple Hong Kong online store. It stated ships in 1-3 business days but still it isn't shipped. Not even prepared for shipment. What the h*ll, it's not even an BTO/CTO just a plain 11.6 inch MBAIR.

Why don't you just go to the store and buy it ?

out of stock at quite a few places so decided to order it online as it was stating 1-3 business days to ship. I did not expect it to take more days for shipping as i didn't customise it.

well things go fast, status just changed into shipped. Seems like Apple is watching this forum and have read my complaint However the trackingnumber for TNT is showing old information (showing some package information from May 2010 about a package in Korea), they probably recycle the numbers. I hope it quickly changes into trackinginformation that's useful for me so i can hit refresh like a maniac

Got a shipment notification this morning! In transit, ETA is the 12th. I have a feeling it won't move too much over the weekend, but I can always hope to get it a day or so sooner. I wish I had waited to bring the base model Air back, the anticipation of getting this one is driving me crazy!

If u check shipping status you log in at Apple store Italy or at the USA store?

I would advice you to log in to the USA store. They are faster with shipment updates is my experience.

I ordered the new Air a last week (custom, everything upgraded) and it's been delayed twice due to 'technical faults with the plane'. Looks like I could be waiting a while.

At least they spotted the faults with the plane, my Air could've gone down in flames

Try using another browser. For some reason I have issues using https Apple store addresses. Once you get the tracking number, you won't need to go to the store again

just got my base 13 incher! LOVING IT! coming from a core duo white macbook and I'm loving this! This thing is so fast compared to my white macbook even tho this has a bit slower processor and 2gb less memory as my white macbook! amazing!

Haven't got my carrier details yet! Im very impatient at the moment too! shouldnt have gone to the Apple store to have a play on one! Just makes me want it sooner!
