You can't trace it at apple.com?

I even did a live chat while placing the order and the Apple rep told me I will receive my MBA before Christmas. It's strange that the online store didn't provide any shipping option other than the 2-3 days free shipping.

The Apple sales rep even asked for my web order # and checked it. :)

Nope :(

When I go to the Apple tracking page all that's there is a delivery reference number, and in the Carrier Tracking Number section it just says it'll be updated shortly... that was a week ago.

Can it be tracked with the delivery ref number?

Not had any update since the 13th, maybe its been delayed by closed airports or something.

I don't think we can track them properly because they are sent as merge in transit which I belive means loads of orders are sent in pallets to europe/uk before being split into individual orders.

An email from Apple did say I should recieve it on or before the 22nd so fingers crossed.

Yep, that's exactly the same status that I get. I just noticed that other people were able to track their orders from China and wondered why I couldn't :)

Anyway, with all the snow in the UK I can't imagine it arriving before Xmas now anyway!!

Dunno what that carrier means, UPS?

EDIT: Actually its probably just there are no collections so hopefully collection on Monday and delivery Tuesday

The last action on my UPS tracking is:

KOELN (COLOGNE), DE 18/12/2010 5:28 DEPARTURE SCAN

...so at least it got out of Germany, who are having big problems with snow. I presume it has arrived in the UK as that action is more than 24 hours ago, but I guess nothing is moving or being scanned in until Monday.

Delivery date has been updated to Tuesday, which is still within the estimated delivery time (21st-27th).

Woohooo, ordered!

Just ordered the 11" 1.4/4GB/64 to replace my chronically ailing Dell Mini 9 hackintosh. But spiritually it is replacing 12" PB that retired to South America a few years ago. Should arrive before xmas but I'm not holding my breath.

Can't Wait!!

Ordered my 13 inch air with the 4 GB upgrade last sunday...should get it tomorrow. I am so EXCITED. It's the first time I've ever been happy for Monday :D

Nothing wrong. It gets shipped from Shanghai, China. So shipping takes a while!

Mine has just this second flipped from UPS delivery on the 21st to delivery on the 20th.

Woot!

Now, I'm assuming that UPS are more competant than Royal Mail!

I ordered a macbook air 13" with 4gb RAM this afternoon, delivery estimate the 22nd - 28th. I'm keeping my fingers crossed it'll get here before Christmas, as I'm planning to have my 1.5-year old 13" macbook aluminum tuned up for my daughter for Christmas, if the guys at my local mac repair shop can fit it in.

Out for delivery! Woot! Now, UPS say deliveries are anytime between 9am and 7pm, but we're not far from the depot at all. Fingers-crossed!

Mine arrived about an hour ago, and I'm typing on it now after running system update and installing a few other bits and bobs.

I love it so far - having a full-sized keyboard on a machine so tiny and thin is brilliant.

...so I'm doubtful I'll have it in the early part of the 12/22 - 12/28 window. Oh, well! Happy to just keep anticipating. :)
