I've been using my high end 13" for the past two days and I love it! Came from a uMBP 13". Was thinking about selling the 13" for the 11", but im probably going to just keep it. The battery life and 256gig flash drive are what's keeping me with the 13. Overall, this is definitely the future of computers!
That's because your carrier isn't UPS or FedEx, which offers this information. Not much you can do about that.
It arrived yesterday (12/21). Everything looks good, but having a strange feeling.
Bought a 13" 2.13ghz with 4 gig DDR3 and 256 Meg Flash Drive. I love this. So light yet powerful. I love the 1440x900 screen. I'm glad I got the highest end model. So close to the MBP but quicker in access and screen display. Only thing I wish they could have added backlit keyboard but I will live with that. Great job Apple!!!

Just got my MBA as a Christmas present. I'm loving it so far, did a restore but forgot to deselect the languages and iDVD... So wasted 30 mins without being able to use it D:

After reading every review and looking at every single video there was on the new MBA I finally went out and ordered one.
Ordered a 13" 128GB with 4GB RAM, delivery date 5-6 January.
It also said there where delays due to severe weather conditions.
Now I just can't wait to have the thing in my hands....

ik guess the planes didn't leave because of the snow and now they don't work with christmas? (UPS)@darthdrinker - I wouldn't be so sure. I ordered my MacBook yest. afternoon but it still hasn't shipped in the morning. I'm Pretty sure apple is one of those types who wait until the last min to ship.
They ship when ready, but if you've done any customisation you will wait 1-3 days longer for it to ship. You should also note that the estimated shipping and delivery is noted in "business" days. A weekend - especially a holiday weekend - are not considered business days.
I finally got round to unpacking my Ultimate 13" yesterday evening around 7pm.
The one thing I just can't get over is how light it actually is, I'm just amazed. It doesn't feel like I'm picking up a laptop.
So far I'm loving it, it is fantastic.

Hmm, thanks crut. I was a little thrown off balance about shipment bussiness days and all that because just now my printer got 'prepared for shipment' and it's not a bussiness day so I was like, 'hmm, what's taking my MBA so long?'

I finally bought MacBook Air for my Mom, was thinking of buying the MacBook. The weight of the laptop was (is) a big issue at home, MBA was the only choice. I bought the standard configuration 2 GB RAM and 1.86 GHz processor 128 GB SSD, nothing fancy (BTO option is not available in India). The thing is plenty fast, can't wait for my Mom to see it. Btw this is going to be my Mom's first ever computer, any apps I should install that might enhance her interest or make it wasy for her to use the computer. Your advice/opinions are appreciated.

I have been thinking about selling my 08' 15" UMBP for one of these airs. geez. The debate. I'm good if I don't do it but still. The size and the sexiness of it are getting me.
