Mine will be delivered to Michigan.
Actually, both MBA were shipped already yesterday a few hours after placing the order. Built to order - haha - picked up from the warehouse to order :)

I got both because I could not decide. I will play around with them for a month and then decide. Once decided I will put one on ebay or so :)

I really DO NOT need 2 :)

Ugh- Mine showed up at Dulles (Washingtton, DC) this morning. Will probably be sitting there all day. It's only a 1.5 hr drive from here.
 
Just ordered an 11.6", 1.4Ghz, 64GB SSD model with RAM bumped to 4GB as a BTO option from the UK Apple store.

Shipping time is estimated at three days, and the delivery is estimated between 23-27th December.

So I might have it for Christmas, or I might not! :D

Mine shipped out yesterday evening as well...mine is apparently 4 minutes ahead as mine was picked up at 11:41 AM lol

Nice strategy on getting both to figure out what you want. I also have been debating between the 11 and 13 but settled with the 11 because I want this unit for portability.

Let the race begin! :)
 
I just picked up my MBA 11.6/4/128, it only took my reseller 32 "workdays" to get it, I ordered it the 28th of october. :rolleyes:

Ha ha that is funny. Well, now it depends where your MBA is shipped to? Arrives at the West Coast from China / if you are in Washington then I might win (Michigan):)

Where did you order it from? I ordered 11" ultimate from J&R (on 11/15) and no sign of it yet.....

Anyone has suggestions for another vendor? Hoping to avoid CA tax... Thanks.
 
I just got my 11" at the brand new Lincoln Park Apple Store! That place is like a cathedral/hangar inside. Wow.

It was also pretty empty, the subzero temperatures here in Chicago probably helped that a bit today. I walked right up to the Express table which had no customers and had some right there and was out the door in 5 minutes.

So far so good. Reinstalled OS X and iLife leaving out a few things I will never use, and went from 47GB to 51GB free. Pretty good I say.

I notice that on the included software restore USB dongle there isn't an option to include Quicktime 7 in the customized install options. I'll have to see if I can use one of my other OS X discs laying around to do it.

So far so good! No creaking, and haven't had any black screen or other issues yet. Finger crossed.

So far, our machines are following the same journey :) It's good to know they have company LOL
 
Well, my UK shipping was stated as 3 days on the Apple store, but I ordered yesterday and it has shipped today. I now have both an Apple and a UPS tracking number - Apple claim delivery by Friday, UPS by Monday. I'm not sure who to believe!
 
I just received an 11" MBA Ultimate setup as a gift from my family for graduating with my doctorate in physical therapy yesterday. Yay!

hmmm hopefully, it didn't fell into a drill hole in Alaska - you know "drill baby drill"

maybe bad weather conditions.

I have ordered mine last Sunday and it is now at the destination sort facility in Grand Rapids, MI...

Has anyone ever had duplicate order confirmations?

I ordered a MacBook Air on 1st Nov, and received it on the 9th Nov. Today I got an order confirmation email from Apple stating that they'd received my order from the 1st Nov and would be shipping my MacBook Air on the 28th Dec and it's due to arrive on the 4th Jan.
 
Best Laptop Ever

I order my MacBook Air, my first Mac ever, on December 4th and received it the 9th, all the way from Shanghai, China. It is 13.3 inches, 256gb SSD, 2.13ghz, 4gb RAM.

I can honestly say that after years and years of blue screen of death and horrendous irritation at the hands of Microsoft having this Air in my hands is like "giving a glass of ice water to somebody in hell".

It is fast, it is stable. With Vista, a rig I spent over $4,000 on, sometimes I wouldn't even get past a fresh install or a startup without a BSOD. With Mac I have yet to have a single issue. It just runs smooth.

This is a great machine and platform. No regrets in my purchase. I only with I'd have converted earlier.

Shipped Monday 12/13 delivered 12/15. WOW!
