Wow. Any reason given yet?
It isn’t returned though. There’s still hope :)

No reason so far. Heres what the tracking says:

Further Detail
Entry has been rejected by Customs Authorities.
Next Step
An attempt will be made to correct the entry and resubmit to Customs. A DHL representative will attempt to contact the consignee/importer or shipper if further information is required.

Looks like faulty shipping papers from Apple. Would’ve thought they know what they’re doing.

On the Apple Store app my BTO M2 Mac Mini has a delivery date of 6. February. When I login to track it, a message on the Apple Store tells me that it is delayed. No new date. The link to TNT tells me that the tracking number can not be found. WTF?

Switched my order…

Originally:
Mac Mini M2 Pro
10/16 cores
32GB RAM
4TB SSD
$2899

Updated to:
Mac Mini M2Pro
10/16 cores
16GB RAM
2TB SSD
$1899
Ready for pickup Feb 21st

For me, in either config I doubt I would ever know the difference in the CPU upgrade to 12/19 cores so that was never in consideration.

The more I read online the more I realized 32GB is overkill for me at this point as I do not really have viable use cases to justify the cost. Also, I was able to rationalize the data on my current late 2014 iMac 27” to not need 4TB anytime in the next several years. 2TB is plenty of headroom.

Thanks for the guidance on this board. Very helpful.

As I said earlier my Mac Mini that I've ordered on 17 Jan was shipped 23 Jan, but when I look at UPS site my Mini has travelled a long way but not even close to my destination. It says it's currently in Dubai shipping from Shenzhen. Destination is Sweden! Funny route.

Mine has gone from Shenzhen -> Hong Kong -> Bahrain -> Italy. Destination is the UK. Crazy.

Edit: Arrived Wed 25th. China to the UK in two days. Very impressive.

Canceled my mini m2 pro and went with a Studio instead for the same price. I determenined the the slight edge in cpu performance wasnt that big of a factor for me compared to the loss in the GPU cores.

How much storage did you go with?

Got my M2 in today, 16GB/1TB , big upgrade in performance from a 2017 iMac.
Congratulations and have fun with your amazing Mac!

May I kindly ask you a few things?

- what monitor do you use?
- you can test the SSD with Blackmagic Disk Speed Test?
- I don't know how you will use it, graphics, videos, etc. what little you've used it, is it silent?

I would like to get it to replace my iMac 27" Late 2012.

Thank you!

- I am using a Dell S2722QC monitor.

- I mainly use it for work and some photo editing with Pixelmator Pro.
- So far it has been silent the entire time I've used it. I use TG Pro to monitor temperatures and it stays around 31c, fan rpm around 1700.
