My CC was just hit with a pending charge for my Dec 27th nMP order which is still processing. I know the state of pending CC charges from others' experience here, but still hoping to see my Precious soon 
Just got my shipping notification! I'm a Dec. 23rd BTO (6-core, d700, 1tb, 64gb) and I'm not on the spreadsheet.

I ordered on 1/1. A pending charge just appeared on my credit card for AppleCare (exactly the AppleCare amount with tax). No charge for the nMP. No change on the Apple order page.
Yes, I see you on the spreadsheet. Hopefully we'll see some pattern in all this madness in about 6 hours
So if I ordered on the 21st of December last year and it's still showing up as "Processing Items", I should call Apple to see what is going on?
Because I'm seeing people on here order way after me, but now have their Mac Pros...
I ordered mine on the 20th December and I heard nothing either. My status is showing Processing items too.
You may be lucky. Mine shipped on 29 Jan and arrived 3 Feb. That's less than a week and included a weekend so don't give up hope!
Sometime today my ordered went to prepared for shipment.
edit - i just got the shipment notfication. scheduled for the 26th?!?
So much for overnight shipping.. O well it works out better for me as I should be home on Wednesday.

Apple seems to be over the initial hump of opening day sales.
On 2/19, based on status updates in the spreadsheet, shipments seem to have moved on from the 12/19 orders. Some orders from 12/20-12/23 left manufacturing and proceeded to shipping. This was 62 days after sales began.
The estimated shipping date of new online orders did not change from February to March until January 20. This means that if Apple remains close to their production schedule, they should be shipping systems ordered early on 1/20 8 days from now on 2/28. Those systems would ship 39 days after the orders were placed.
If they make their promised shipping targets for February, they wiil have shaved 23 days off their shipping times, cutting more than 1/3 off of the wait.
They are still clearly far from supply/demand balance, but moving in the right direction.
I look forward to seeing how quickly the subsequent 4 weeks of orders flow through the system.

Didn't notice it until today but my CC has temp authorization for apple care that happened on the 18th of Feb.... I ordered mine on dec 27th... I'm pretty sure when they authorize apple care with the Mac that means it's either about to be built or it's already built and it's being installed on the Mac Pro ... I could be wrong though... Regardless it will ship amongst these next 8 days hopefully tomorrow but I'm putting my money on Wednesday... But realistically it will be the 28th cause they are ass holes

I also ordered on the 27th and I also got a temp auth for Apple Care on the 18th. That I share with you. Your opinion of Apple, I don't.
Well you should also call apple and get next day shipping... did that 2 days ago... Just ask the machine to speak to someone and then say I would like to get next day shipping on my Mac Pro... They should be able to hook you up... And It's only sarcasm... Apple is chill ...
Fortunately I called on Feb 19 to ask about getting Next Day Shipping because it shipped on Feb 20 and is at my local FedEx place this morning! I ask them to hold it there for me so I wouldn't miss the delivery.
Having worked in production settings in another life I can imagine how stressful it must be for the folks at the Apple factory who are working their way through a mountain of orders with what seems to be a very unreliable supply chain for parts.

Apple Emails
I have to say, at least most of you are getting email updates from Apple. I ordered mine on January 17 and received the order confirmation emails as well as emails regarding the monitor and other peripherals, but have yet to receive one regarding the status of the MacPro. I did contact Apple Online Executive Team support and they called back and, like everyone else has said, they assured me it would ship in February.
