The temp charge on my card has dropped off, and my order is still processing 
My credit card has been canceled by Amex last night for fraud prevention and they're sending a new card.
I'm hoping to get my order updated with the new card tomorrow without dropping to the end of the queue, but all these issues are not a good omen.

Ack, thats annoying. Frustrating AMEX did that!
Newegg has them in stock! I just snagged a base model nMP + an extra stick of DDR3 + a Western Digital Velociraptor RAID-0 Thunderbolt drive thingy. So stoked
Tekserve has the base models in stock too... But I'll wait so I can get my 1TB SSD.
Hmm, never been let down by the Apple/UPS combo yet but starting to get a sinking feeling. Ive just this moment got my UPS tracking number (was Kuhne + Nagel noted this morning) and it says delivery date is pending!

Have asked my nice Apple exec to call as my delivery status just changed to tomorrow in the last 15 minutes. Not impressed especially having taken the day off to take delivery since my wife is out today.... and also tomorrow.

What a roller coaster of a ride today has been. My nice exec just called and my nMP only arrived in the UK from Amsterdam at midday today! so what is actually happening is they have called in a immediate delivery service (TNT) and im assured it will definitely be delivered today. Hats off to Apple if it arrives. Still frustrating that the shipping information on the order page is so far incorrect! Just hope i get my machine now and not someone elses (unless its a better spec.... )

ok strange thing just happened
i gave a call in to 800 my apple phone number just to figure out what is going on with my order, wasn't upset or anything just reaching out to get information as there is only 4 days left in february, the lady couldn't really provide me with anything that i didn't already know but as i was going to say "thanks so much have a wonderful day" she actually out of nowhere offered me a free magic mouse, so apparently that got lobbed in with my order for free which is pretty cool (please don't go attacking apple and calling to ask for free things, i just got lucky and it was offered)

I am happy Amex monitors accounts for fraud and cancels credit cards as soon as they confirm a fraudulent activity. Its just that the timing sucks in my case.

Arrived dead on 6pm. Courier said he was driving up to Birmingham this morning and got a call to collect it and bring it back (from Birmingham, so not sure where it came into the UK) and deliver it by 6. Was a nice guy and i thanked him after the Story.
Good job Apple (despite the 5 week wait and mixed communication)

On a related note, I ordered almost a week sooner than you, and still have not even had an authorization. Yet I have been told on the phone no less than 4 times (always volunteered information) that orders are filled first come, first served. I agree with everyone else - I am not so unhappy with waiting 6 weeks to use it for new projects, but the lack of transparency has left a BAD taste in my mouth with Apple.
Glad it arrived! I just got my UPS tracking number so fingers crossed for a slightly smoother delivery experience here on Friday. Enjoy!
When you update your status, could you please tell us when did you order? So, we all know where Apple is making progression in production.
Delivered this morning (24 February) about 9:40. Let it warm up to room temp for about 45 minutes, then did setup. Took about 2 hours to transfer files from a USB3 HD. It was ordered 19 December about 1:20PM PDT and shipped 18 February. Arrived at UPS's facility in the Seattle area late the evening of 21st and spent the weekend there. Was tempted to pick it up Saturday but had too much going on to be able to do so.
The wait is over, now to enjoy it.

It is really hard to find you in there. I don't wanna touch the spreadsheet or sorting it without messing it up. Some ppl don't put their orders in the spreadsheet as well.
Found a stock quad core at a local reseller who had more than 10 in stock so ordered one together with an Applecare plan at over £100 less than would have cost from Apple. Cancelled my Apple order which was due to deliver sometime in April.
Next day delivery for free so watching out for the van man tomorrow. Exciting times!!

The $6,934.10 charge finally came through on my card at 15:43 today. Chase did a good job alerting me. Now let's see what Apple is up to.

congrats!! You're only three lines above me on the spreadsheet. I know its been skipping around a little bit but still, I feel like I'm super close. At least I hope I am.
Side note - ordered a Pegasus 2 R4 Diskless today. Ships in one to two months. >_<
I have used the Pegasus2 for more than a month with my (late 2013) MBPro. Super fast and so quiet. Highly recommended for use with the nMP.
Awesome! Thanks for the feedback. Im a little curious if its noise will negate the quietness of
the nMP but seems like most folks have said its pretty quiet - and If need be i can always stash it out of the way in a closet or something with a long tb cable.
Joined to say, I'm finally preparing for shipment! Woohoo! It's been awesome following this thread and can't wait to finally get my hands on my own nMP.
Based on someone's earlier comment I also called Apple earlier today and pretty easily got them to throw in a magic mouse, well worth a call if you're still waiting for a Feb order (plus you can easily get next day shipping in the US if you haven't asked for that yet).

Just curious - did you ask for the mouse? I've called several times in the last week because I need to travel for business, but need to be present to receive the computer. They've given me no new information or an offer of anything to make up for the lack of information. It's crazy how different they treat different customers. I know I'm not a big customer, but I'm still handing them over 4k!
