I've been waiting for 4 years for this type of mac pro and I've tackled every hackintosh and macbook pro, xmacmini solution I could try before they announced this computer and the last few days of waiting are the worst!

Ha! Same here. Built a custom hackintosh, served well for five years, but MAN, can I not way to be able to just update and have it run. Forget all this osx86 nonsense!

Arrived at 2 oclock pacific time via FEDEX

I ordered on Dec 27th shipped on the 24th of Feb got here on the 25th of Feb

Thanks for the updates fellas... Its been extremely frustrating and difficult waiting for this thing, However its well worth it. I mostly use this for music production. So when I maxed out the track count for pro tools 11... buses and high cpu plugins, I was amazed at how the Mac did... no glitches or hiccups, it just worked. This thing flies... Anyway I hope to hear all your stories soon..

Congrats!

lol, classic.

So - perhaps some small indication of a trend from the spread sheet. (USA only)

Day = # of Spreadsheet Units Shipped:

2/4 = 2
2/6 = 2
2/12 = 1
2/13 = 1
2/15 = 3
2/18 = 3
2/19 = 3
2/20 = 3
2/21 = 4
2/24 = 6
2/25 = 2?

Maybe, just *maybe* they're speeding up? But the ship dates slipping to april before the 20 of this month like the did might suggest otherwise. Either way, I've been starring at this spreadsheet for way to damn long.

Finally got the temp authorization. I was dividing it between two card sources in an even split. For some reason apple decided not to split it the way I requested when ordered and now the majority is one one card and a minor amount on another. Annoying

Final stretch

Yes, I am out for most of this week and I knew that 2 months ago (big security event in San Francisco). So ... deliver to store. It's a black hole since no tracking number is shared. My buddy at Apple Business let me know that 2 nMPs are arriving tomorrow but even he doesn't know whom they're for. Oh well. Close now. And yes, as I said many many times before, Apple didn't lie.

Mine is continuing it's US tour currently. Austin, Dallas, Orlando, Louisville.

I know Louisville is a worldwide hub for UPS so next stop is Europe I'm guessing. Two days to go!

I just talked again with Apple.

They don't know anything about my order, it's quite weird, even the Apple person thought that.

They see that my Credit Card is ok to make the payment, there's enough funds for the payment.

It seems that for Apple to be on schedule with the delivery, they need to deliver till the end of February (even if we receive in March). I can't "complain" on anything till the end of February.

I was very polite will all my questions but didn't receive any Magic Mouse eheheheh

I guess apple was just waiting for me to post here. My card was charged at 3:15 this morning it still says preparing for shipment and I haven't receieved any confirmation emails but I guess that's a firs step. They may be able to get the CPU out by february after all.

Add me to the list of people who registered to pop their head in and say thanks to all for contributing to this thread - I've been lurking constantly and refreshing it along with my Order Status page for the last couple of months and it's been a great comfort.

I ordered a 6 core, 32GB, 1TB, D700 at between 9 and 10pm UK time on the 19th December, order is still on Processing with no movement.

I'm half hoping I'll have similar luck to others and the very creation of this post will magically speed the process along. ;)

Could not agree more, ANY lifeline in our unique Apple-incommunicado situation to assist with patience and sanity is fantastic!

Monitoring my Pro on its FedEx expedited journey to Canada from Texas makes me appreciate that I am not responsible for understanding transit/delivery logistics.

My shiny new toy seems to get further away in transit in order to get closer.........refresh........refresh......Wheeeee!

Just checked the Apple Store site, and mine is listed as "Shipping to Store"!!

Ordered on the 28th of December for delivery to the UK, still processing and no contact from Apple at all. 8 core, 64gb, 1tb, D700. I have a feeling mine won't ship this month and Apple will be getting a curt phone call Saturday.

If I were you, I would call apple to get something out of it. A free stuff as Apple breaks its promise and fall into March time frame.

Weeeowww!! It came this morning! I saw the van pull up from my apartment window and got so excited I started running around the intercom like a little school girl, waiting for him to buzz my apartment.
