Thougt they fortgot me... But now, feeling like a little child before christmas.

Preparing for shipment!

Hope the whole february crew will make it!

I'm sure Apple has legions of people working on these Pros, but from the way they're handling things it seems like one guy builds through most of a month, then walks over to shipping and ships everything he built during the last few days of the month.

Meanwhile that one guy now only has 48 hours, give or take a couple for time zones. ;)

So close... Credit card 'hold' now for 3 days.

Called today and politely asked if I could pay to upgrade the shipping and was told she would upgrade me to next business day for free.

If February holds true... It's Friday or Monday!

Somehow my shipping got upgraded to 2 day and not next day. :S so maybe it'll come tomorrow (not holding my breath) but fedex says itll be here 8pm friday, right when im supposed to be out at a concert.

There are some reports (and some rumor) of QC issues: http://michaelkammes.com/apple/how-i-killed-the-new-mac-pro/

Frankly, I would rather Apple take its time in producing the nMPs. While I (and I'm sure others) want my Pro now (childlike whine), I'd rather have it later, but right.

I think all of my problems with the nMP ordering stem from Apple's communications. In 20/20 hindsight, Apple should have admitted that they couldn't actually launch the nMP in 2013. Orders should have had firm shipping dates, even if those dates were in the far future. I.e., promise a realistic date, then improve the date if possible (underpromise, overdeliver). Don't promise "February" when you mean "February 28th at 11:59:59pm PDT." Also, don't claim to be processing sales in-order when clearly some Pros are shipping before others that were ordered earlier.

I write all this knowing full well that I couldn't manage the BTO line and produce accurate estimates of orders' completion. I'd like to think that Apple has fairly deep experience with these matters. The alternating silence and ambiguity leaves customers to speculate, which isn't helping anyone.

Ordered on the 28th of December for delivery to the UK, still processing and no contact from Apple at all. 8 core, 64gb, 1tb, D700. I have a feeling mine won't ship this month and Apple will be getting a curt phone call Saturday.

Dont wait till Saturday. Email Tim Cook, seems to oil the wheels....

I feel really sorry for those who have been waiting for nMP since last December, and Apple's bloody attitude makes my blood boil.
I think they should compensate for this delay if there is still someone waiting for February shipping in March.....

Interesting phone call from Apple. They told me there is a delay in shipping my Mac Pro. I ordered on the 20th December and was in the Feburary dispatch time. Apple Said that there is a delay on it for between 5-7 working days. Apple is not keeping the promised dispatch time of some time in Feburary. This is not on. 4 core d500s 12GB 256GB SSD. Also they told me that my order is coming from shanghai.

That is pretty frustrating, AppMann - mind telling us where you're at and when you ordered? I could not find you on the spreadsheet...

Today's the Day!

Mine is out for delivery now--59 days after ordering on Dec. 30. Normally they arrive before 3:00 pm here or as early as 10:00 am. Everything is in place: keyboard, mouse, displays, external drivers, etc. Mine is a configure to order.

Mine has been 'shipping to store' since Monday night. Does anyone know how fast/slow that typically goes? I'm in California.

My card was charged last Thursday, got the notification for pickup yesterday (Wednesday), hopefully yours is a bit more speedy.
