Ordered Jan 22. CC charged yesterday. Preparing for shipment today.

That's annoying, so I order 2 days prior to this but am still processing, essentially the same config except for D500 Wonder why Apple isn't doing these in order of when the order is placed?

After reading your post, I checked my order status again (for the 3rd time today) because I ordered a system on the same day as you.
I misread it, by focusing on the status of a thunderbolt cable which shipped long ago.
I was elated for a brief moment. Really, really happy. Then my eyes settled on the "Processing" status for the system itself.
sigh Maybe tomorrow.
A local reseller sent out an update email on mac pro orders earlier today and this caught my eye:
"After contacting Apple, were told that they are experiencing production problems, and heavy parts constraints."

LOL. I know how you feel, another post noted an order date a three days earlier than mine. It took a "lot" longer than three days for mine to be ready. I must have checked twice a day at Apple and again with my bank.
Apple has charged my card and said they are now shipping to store. YAY.... But that was 3 days ago....

I decided to pull the trigger yesterday. I have now joined the "waiting for my MacPro" club.
Scissor's spreadsheet has been a great resource while deciding what to do and when to do it. I've added my info to the list. Ordered yesterday, and it still says "April" delivery. Let's hope it stays that way!

When I ordered yesterday, I chose the "pick up from store option". Apple just sent me an email saying I can pick up my keyboard and trackpad today! LOL! If only there were a computer to go with them.
Go for it! Practice couldn't hurt: no matter how much you type and how many times you click on the trackpad you will be amazed by how quiet it is in the room.

But as the proud owner of an 8-core with D700's, for two weeks, I can also tell you that the real thing is VERY quiet. In fact, I have to admit that the new Pegasus2 R4 that's under my desk is now audible. It wasn't before...

My Jan 23rd order (6c/16gb/1gbSSD,700s) had the CC authorized on 3/10, but still "processing". I was expecting things to move quickly once I saw my CC charge, but it's still dragging out.

LOL! You are so right! I just picked them up. I can't believe how quiet the keyboard and trackpad are, without a computer to run them on! No fan noise or hard disk noise at all, ;-)

My business partner and I ordered our MP's one day apart.
Our CC's were just billed this week - one day apart.
But my MP is now waiting for me at the store (lucky me) but his doesn't even say it's in transit to the store...still says available March. Weird. All signs pointed to him getting his one day after me ...looks not to be the case for some reason.

Apple must hold a lottery to see who gets their nMP delivered next. There is no other explanation.
lol it does kinda feel like a Willy Wonka Golden Ticket scenario going on. That would actually be fun to win a trip to the Texas factory!
Sorry you're having problems. Most international orders took longer than the orders placed within the States. I placed my order on Jan. 21 and I too have not received my order yet, although it should be here on Monday.

It is true, although many orders have arrived here in Italy, a few days ago it was announced the new Apple chief financial officer .
The chief financial officer of Apple, Peter Oppenheimer , will leave office in September. The Apple announced in a statement. His place will be taken by the Italian Luca Maestri , current vice president of finance . "Peter was chief financial officer during the last decade during which annual revenues have grown from Apple's $ 8 billion to $ 171 billion .
LoL ! I hope it will be helpful for imports of Apple products in Italy .
Yesterday I contact Luca Maestri to ask for help, his staff contacted me immediately . And after a few hours I was told that the orders of NMP are in preparation for shipments to Italy , on March 18 .
Although it is the first time that such a thing happens to me , my studio since 2009 using only Apple products, and orders have always been delivered within seventy-six hours . So that's okay , the important thing is you got a date .

Ordered Feb 6th Update
During my daily page refresh this morning I'm happy to see my status bumped from "Processing" to "Preparing for Shipment" with an availability to ship still listed as March, which was ordered on Feb 6th. I also got a debit card transaction notification on March 11th to Apple Online Store, but no funds taken out yet. So that was 6 days ago they were checking I had the funds available. How soon should I be expecting an actual shipping eMail notification? I'll be super surprised if I get the machine before this month is over!

I ordered on February 8th and haven't heard a peep. Keeping my fingers crossed I hear (or even see) something soon.
I ordered the same day as you, but haven't had the card transaction made yet.
Nice to see some of the February orders starting to change
