just took a peek and my bank account got charged this morning. I ordered on 2/27....6core/12gb/d700/256gb
from the point the cc is charged it could take anywhere from a day to 10 to be prepared for shipping

I called Apple today, it apparently left the factory on Thursday and is expected to arrive at the Apple store in NH by Wednesday. That's a fairly long transit time, hope it's worst case and it makes it earlier, but really not much of a factor as I won't be able to spend time to set up until next weekend. In hindsight should have had it delivered to my home, but I had no idea when it would arrive and where I would be.
I feel unloved....... nothing's happened since i placed my order on the same day..
I ordered nearly a week before that and I haven't seen any movement either. I think they're just pulling names out of a hat to be honest...
I ordered feb 23rd, my card has been charged today although I still can't see what the charge is it can only be my nMac Pro.

Could anyone else who has ordered in the UK help me out here. My order today went from Processing Items all the way through to Dispatched, and I was given an initial delivery date of Friday. It has now however changed to tomorrow, with the tracking showing it is already in the UK.

got my pro today its up and running with 2 cinema and 1 thunderbolt display...everything is running tight and quiet not silent..
Was going to buy a maxed out iMac but ordered 6 Core/D500/512Gb nMP on 30th March. They said sometime in April. Can't remember if that was shipping or delivery. I didn't think about the California Sales Tax, but with my luck for traffic tickets and parking tickets it is probably just as well I paid it!
I called B&H today to check in and see if any new information had come up. They said they've spoken to Apple and they were assured that Apple was going to fulfill all their backorders this month. Not incredibly specific, but a little bit of hope...
Well, it finally arrived this morning. As I said above, my Mac had made it into the UK before I got a shipment notification.
Did anyone in AU place the order after 17th Feb???
I'm kinda sceptical now why Apple hasn't charged me yet...
If there was any problem with transaction, they should have emailed me or called me. I'm getting impatient now, and my bank account says there's nothing pending, which is even more painful

After changing my Adorama custom order on 1/9 to a stock 6 core that was in stock, I received the Mac Pro pretty quickly. It arrived yesterday, so I've been spending a lot of time copying everything over.
It's an amazing machine. I'm coming from a 2009 Mac Pro (8x2.26Ghz), and the performance difference is night and day. The new one is just so much faster. Apps open with a bounce or two, reboots happen in seconds, and apps installing from the Mac App Store just pop so quickly.
Hang in there everyone who ordered from a 3rd party in January! Once it arrives, you're gonna love it.

I got word on Sunday from the B&H shipping folks that my nMP would be shipped 4/30 (ordered 2/20), so, technically this month

my guess is that this is their worst case scenario guess. like everyone else on here, they have no real idea of when exactly they'll receive their shipments. but apple has at least indicated it will be sometime this month!

Well, I cancelled my B&H order. I'd had enough. I'm going to purchase one of the stock configurations that's more easily found available for immediate shipping. I can take small consolation in knowing that B&H isn't getting any of my money on this order and Apple is getting less than they would have. When people who ordered a full month after me have had their machines arrive and I still haven't gotten a whiff of a notification (despite them having my $5k cash, not just an authorization) for 2.5 months, I've got enough blame to spread around.
Sorry to hear that, popechild. It seems like they're speeding up these days, so I'm cautiously optimistic my B&H order isn't too far away. I didn't order until 3/1 and am frustrated, though, so I can only imagine what you've been feeling.
Ditto what fbscofield said. It's a shame you had to take that route. If anybody should be making a sacrifice it should be Apple and/or B&H. I ordered from B&H on Jan. 16 and am waiting like many of us. There is no acceptable reason I can think of that would explain why Apple has chosen to put B&H orders so far down the list. I am waiting on a 6 core, 16GB, 512, D700 model that has been built over and over by Apple. Only thing is they keep shipping this make to people who have ordered long after I did. That's BS. I hope you are happy with your nMP when you do get it though. BTW, which CTO did you originally order popechild and which stock unit did you replace it with?
