Throwin in my 2 cents....Mine changed to Prepared for Shipment earlier this morning. I imagine it'll end up getting here on Monday, though I won't be home, so I'll probably have to get it from the fedex facility.

I ordered! 2.4g 13" model. No extras.:D

It has shipped today but when i click my tracking number it takes me to an order that was done at the beginning of the month with something being sent to Dubai??

Should I just ignore it and assume it will get here safely or ask for a new number or something?:confused:

Mine said the same, I think that was the shipment that went to Dubai when they released them. That might be where the New Zealand ones are distributed from. (Im a kiwi too)

I ordered the same model as you on Tuesday and was told it would arrive on Wednesday or Thursday next week by the apple person i ordered it through... but it arrived today!!! ONE WEEK EARLY!!!
 
I'm going into day 9 and still no change in shipping status :(

Hopefully it will still arrive within the specified dates

Just got the shipment notification. Scheduled delivery date of Monday, 5-3 in AZ.
 
Ordered Last Thursday, arrived Last Friday - UK Edu Store

I ordered a standard MBP 15" last Thursday around 2pm, arrived Friday 9.30am.

Decided to add the other bits I wanted with a different order, that all turned up today... display adapters and Final Cut Studio etc....

Also, the LaCie ruggedized disk arrived VERY damaged.. ironic.

status changed to Prepared for shipment sometime early this morning and then changed to SHIPPED within a couple of hours.

FedEx estimates delivery at 10:30am on May 4th. (which was the last day of the original window). Ive bumped my shipping up to 2nd day air and it doesnt seem to make a difference. I REALLY need this machine on the 3rd since I will be extremely busy at work on May 4th - the 6th.
 
To add to everyone else waiting... Ordered my new 17 (see sig) at 9:00 PM PT Tuesday 4/27 (exactly at midnight my time, weird...).

Delivery current ETA is 'May 5-11'. My older MBP (which I'm looking to sell) is a vanilla unit, and the glossy screen is a pain; looking forward to AG!
 
Bought my 2010 MBP 13.3" 2.4Ghz Monday direct from the Apple store. First Apple product I've owned and I'm pretty impressed so far. I was tired of Toshiba/Asus build quality.

It shipped to Japan, then it shipped back to Shanghai? It also had expected delivery of the 30th now it doesn't have one. I really hope it arrives by tomorrow :(

ugh... I wouldn't be holding my breat for it to arrive tomorrow... :( Sorry...

The upside is when it does get here you will be so happy :D:D:D that you will soon forget the wait... :cool:
 
Ordered on Saturday and my card was just now authorized for the full amount, I wonder if this means it is close to shipping (status page only says "Not Yet Shipped". I understand Apple doesn't charge until it ships, but do they authorize earlier than that? Either way it is getting my hopes up since there is a chance it could ship soon :eek:

Check your card to see if the charge actually shows on it, or if just the amount was deduced.

I thought that my card was charged 2 days ago, because my available balance got reduced by the MBP amount.. but the charge didn't appear. I finally figured out that it was a temporary charge, that apple uses to check if you do have the credit.

I ordered on the 22nd, and still "not yet shipped".

Bought my first MBP on the 16th from Apple store. First Apple product I will own and I'm not impressed AT ALL so far. Haven't even got the bloody thing yet!
(No tracking number yet and no news!)

Just got my 13" MBP and started customizing the desktop. I originally had a 2006 MB so this is just night and day for me.

Thought I'd share my pic of my hardwork..lol all 5 mins of it :p

So I wanted the MBP 17" i7 and thought about ordering but it said days before it would ship. I went to the Apple store at lunch and am typing this up on my new MBP :)

Hey Mandy,

The wallpaper I got from a google image search, just looked for wallpapers and that was one of them.

Dock: You have to download 'Dock Library' - http://www.dativestudios.com/docklibrary/. Once you have it installed all you need are some docks to put in it. I went to Leoparddocks.com they have tonnes. Just download the ones you want (they by default go to your download folder, I like to copy and paste them to a new folder just for docks, I have it in my home folder but you can put it wherever you want.) Once you have have it unzipped you just import it into the Dock Library).

Icons: Just searched google for mac icons - http://www.pixelgirlpresents.com/icons/48 have lots and you can search by category. You just download and again make a new folder for your icons. To use just right click on the icon you want - click get info - command c. Right click on whatever folder you want to change the icon on - get info - command v. Your done. To undo just command x.

Hope that was clearish :)
