Its here! Typing on it now. My first laptop and first mac. Came in three days was expecting it to come next wednesday, took less than 3 days rather than the week so i'm happy :)

Custom build ordered on the 21st

Anyone who ordered a CTO on the 21st have theirs "prepared for shipment" yet?

I ordered a 15" i7 Hi Res Glossy.

Does anyone have any idea when the new Macbook Pro models will be available refurbished. It's approaching a month since they released. Does anyone know how long it usually takes for new models to appear. I only buy refurbished from Apple and I'm dying to order a 13 mbp.

I don't know for sure but I already sent one back because I didn't care for the anti-glare screen and re-ordered a glossy hi-res.

ordered my first mac.. a MBP 15.4/2.4/HiRes bout 1 hour ago!!

it says it should be here between may 10 - 14.. cant wait :D

To add to everyone else waiting... Ordered my new 17 (see sig) at 9:00 PM PT Tuesday 4/27 (exactly at midnight my time, weird...).

Delivery current ETA is 'May 5-11'. My older MBP (which I'm looking to sell) is a vanilla unit, and the glossy screen is a pain; looking forward to AG!

Are they being built more quickly all of a sudden? My order has already flipped to 'Prepared for Shipment', and that's after not even 72 hours. Or will it sit here for a week? :)

My card got a pending charge for the MBP added yesterday, it's still on 'Not yet shipped' though.

Hopefully it ships by Tuesday, (7 business days from order, once you don't include ANZAC day). Anyone order from the Australian store and get theirs yet? Any idea how long it takes from China?

Any idea how long it takes from China?

Is it a CTO MBP? If so (and it may be different for Australia), it took 9 days to actually leave China for me :(

On a side note, it's made it from Anchorage to Memphis! Huzzah, it's slowly getting closer! :D

And now it's shipped. At 3 PM CN time, it's in Shanghai. Of course, it might sit there for a week.... but the ETA is 5/5. That's just the FedEx normal estimate, not the 'usual we expect here', right?

I'm guessing they are catching way up on parts, to be making them this quickly. Or perhaps it's only the 15's that have availability issues? I can't keep track of where the bottlenecks are.

Just got my very first 13'' MBP yesterday, I had to wait after all the lines for people who ordered the iPad 3G got helped, but it was worth it!

I'm a PC user since I was a kid yet this MBP blows me away. I'm a working student and I was after portability and battery life so this was a winner among all the choices, that's why I decided to spend some extra cash and buy a MBP. Definitely worth it, can't stop using it (since last night lol) I should have bought one years ago! Glad I made that decision yesterday :)

My MPB is currently in the local Fedex sorting facility and the expected arrival date is Tuesday. If I'm lucky it'll get here one day early (Monday), but in the grand scheme of things that has little to do with Apple (except for taking 10 days to ship it, but maybe that's only because it's a CTO out of the norm).
