I would just like to chime in aswell - I got my first Mac on Monday and I'm in LOVE!
I already had an iPhone (and an iPod Touch which, for some reason, decided not to work anymore - hence the iPhone) and since then I've been in love with Apples products and knew a Mac would fit me. When the new MacBook Pros came out, I immediately bought a 15" Core i5 2,4 GHz with the High-Res Glossy screen. When I got it Monday I was pretty confused about Mac OS X (never used it before), but it quickly grew on me. Now I'm in LOVE! This is easily the best laptop I've ever had. The trackpad is amazing!! I love it!

Got a mail from my reseller and my MB pro CTO is in store, almost a month, but thats my fault i ordered one with US keyboard and i live in belgium. hehe, cant wait to have that baby
New MBP with 8GB, i7, 512 SSD
I never thought that a notebook could achieve this performance and speed. I have three days working with my new MBP, 15 "i7 8GB 512GB SSD using common applications and Windows under Parallels 5.
Windows XP only takes 27 seconds to boot up completely. Every time I start an application, it is activated immediately without any waiting time. Everything works perfecly and is very silent.
This is the third MBP that I ever have... but this machine has completely changed my perception about what a notebook supose to be.

My order changed from "Not Shipped Yet" to "Prepared for Shipment" this morning. I guess it'll be shipped tonight or tommorow if Apple wants to meet the "Ships: 1 - 3 business days" rule.

Well... I did it!
I finally made the jump. I just got home with my first Mac ever! I went for the basic 15", and I'm loving it so far!
And to think, just a few short months ago I was a total M$ fanboy.

I might add that I received my first Mac today and its by far the best computer I have never owned. I have never used OS X before and I can safely say its so user friendly and so easy to use. The 15" MBP was definitely the best choice and its so light compared to what I am use to working with. I now fully understand why MACS cost so much...THEY TRULY ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!
Got mine yesterday morning just as predicted on the shipping info. I actually caught the fedex guy as I was leaving for work.
It's a beautiful amazing machine. I'm still configuring it.. went the long route to avoid importing useless crap from the old one.

All the craziness of the last 7 weeks with what Mac I should get to replace my 2006 dying iMac has finally been sorted.
20" refurb iMac and brand new 13.3" MBP. The MBP is my first laptop ever and I love it (save for the sharp edges). Glad I made the decision and even better now I can teach my mom computer skills the Mac way.

I ordered my second new MBP Core i7 Wed May 5th. Earlier today I received the email saying it shipped with an arrival date of Wed May 12th, just one week from order to arrival. That's faster than the one I'm typing on now. I'm impressed that Apple is keeping up on the demand.
Two days before I ordered mine the web site said ships in 5 to 7 days for the i7, i5's were just 1 to 3 days. So perhaps that's an indication of the popularity of the Core i7. Anyway when I revisited the site to place my order two days later, the ship time had dropped to 2 to 4 days. Mine shipped in two, a very impressive performance by Apple...

Just ordered a 15" MBP i7 4gb ram Hi-Res Glossy 500gb 7200rpm, I can't wait upgrading from my late '08 unibody macbook.
the waiting game is the worst. I absolutely LOVE my machine. I complete neglect the quad core win7 machine with dual 22" screens i have at work. after spending all day on this machine, I come home and want to keep using it for hours and hours. I've never enjoyed computing this much. Something about running OSx and Win 7 side by side (parallels 5) and having so much power in a machine.

I ordered my 15" i7 the day after you (it said 1-3 days to ship when I ordered). Shipped yesterday (actually at like 2am local today) and is due for delivery on the 13th! I can't wait!
