Haha, I'm glad you like it. The trackpad may very well be the coolest thing about it, and the keyboard is the best I have used on any laptop, ever. I am sure you will find even more cool things about it as well. Enjoy!

Same as me, had an iPhone for 2 years and then started to hate my slow PC! Ended up with a MBP 13" and it is the best computer I have ever owned!

Also, there's a sticky at the top of this forum for posts like this so that the forum doesn't get too cluttered up.
Some do but many don't bother. And the same questions pop up every few days. Some people get really mad about this but it's just the way of this board.
Maybe they should ban people for being negative trolls.

No surprise that Apple runs a premium, but you really do get what you pay for. My 13" uMBP blows any other laptop I have had completely out of the water.

While I have always been an 
guy ever since I began on computers, I bought my first MBP a year ago, give or take a few weeks, and I just bought my another one because they're the most versatile machines that I can find/afford. 
I'm Apple for life and my arsenal will forever grow stronger! hahaha

Congratulations to all of you new owners! I got my new Pro first week of this past June'10 and I'm LOVING it. Seriously one of the best purchases I've made in a long, long time. Apple never lets me down.

Failure to acknowledge (and fix) problems
(For instance... MBP Late 2008 flickering... or... MBP Mid 2010 freezing...)Apple ain't premium... Apple does beautiful designs and they fail badly many times (aka iPhone antenna... or these other problems Apple doesn't acknowledge them neither fix them... probably because they are design-related and can't be really fixed without an overhaul redesign

What the hell! My MBP shipped on July 6 (Tuesday) and had a delivery date of July 9 (Friday). I guess that isnt to bad, but today it was changed to a delivery date of July 12 (Monday).
It is being shipped from China to Canada with UPS. Is this new delivery date of July 12 accurate? Or is there a good chance it will come before the weekend?

Just got my base 13" pro from microcenter after selling iPad last night, absolutely no complaints or regrets here!
I have an iPad but have found it to have limited functionality, although it does what it does well very well. In any event, you just did a huge upgrade. Good move!
^Yeah, dont get me wrong, i loved the iPad, but i thought it would be more than what i came to use it as. And then the new iphone came out and i just realized i need to get a laptop or a desktop first, iPad 2nd. Ill just wait for iPad 2 next year but in any event, i LOVE this thing. True joy.
