Just checked my status and it is "in transit to customer" with a delivery date of Nov 23 so no real change there. No idea why mine should be taking so long but I am a bit 'steamed' that "Ship in 3 business days" actually means "We'll deliver it in 3 weeks" - be interesting to hear how you progress. I'll post as soon as my status changes.

Out for delivery :)

Something is happening!

Out for delivery :)

Status has changed :D
Currently sitting at "Preparing handover to final carrier" which is good, also the money has been taken from my account which is also good. Estimated delivery still - "22 Nov 2010 (Subject to change)" which isn't so good.

Still I have the iTunes announcement to keep me occupied/distracted today

Bummer - the status has just returned to "In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule" :(

Maybe I should just ignore it for the rest of the day?

Purchased my first Mac 2 days ago. I´m loving my MBP 13" 2,4 GHZ so far, what a great machine.

It's been about a week since I got my new 2.4 i5 15" MBP from Amazon....ended up getting a 180gb OCZ Vertex2 SSD while I was at it. I think I made the right choice with the SSD. This thing is quick and quiet. Everything loads in one or two dock bounces and boot up takes about 15-18 seconds...

Definitely a step up from my June 2007 non-unibody 2.4 C2D 15" MBP with failing hdd....

my apple retailer ordered my 15inch BTO MBP at October 20th but nothing so far.
order status is "in transit" as he told me since November 8th, in how many days in average will be here? any ideas? :)

Received my new MBP 15 about 2 weeks ago, and got my iPhone 4 on Monday. So far I'm absolutely loving both... :D

Next on my list is probably going to be an iPad (although might wait for next years model) and an Apple TV.

Out for delivery!!!

OK so I ignored it and overnight it was with UPS on the long trip to Scotland, arrived at depot at 7:30, out for delivery at 8:43 - sitting by the window twitching every time I hear an engine noise!

If it arrives that is 10 days from order to delivery - more than I expected when I ordered it but no doubt I will have forgotten about it within 10 minutes of delivery.
:D:):D:):D:):D:):D:)

Relax, your computer will arrive when Apple says it will. We've all been through the angst of waiting for a new toy however Apple generally does what they say they will. If they say it will be there by tomorrow, then it probably will be. Nothing you do or say is going to get it there any quicker so take a deep breath and be patient.

+1 This may not be the same but when i order from AllSaints, even when the item is delivered at 10am the same day, Tracking status for the parcel is still at Kent at 8am and i live 150 miles away from Kent lol! Don't believe everything the Tracking tells you!

Got it !

Oh my.....!!!!!!

It arrived at 10:30 - 7 days early, 10 days after ordering and I guess it did arrive 'before' Nov 24th as was promised.

I have to say it is awesome - still getting to grips with the whole Mac universe but mostly coping well.

Mine was due to me in LA by Friday, but as of this morning at 3:14am, it has arrived in Los Angeles! Status is "arrived at dest sort facility."

Any chance it'll be here today? It's 7:45am. Or would it already be 'out for delivery?'

It's here! Arrived at my office. Can't open until I'm home... 5 more hours... :D

3 more hours!!!
i was planning to buy the MBP this gen. but my sis wants to wait and my generous dad who is paying for it all (both mine and my sis) wants to wait till the next gen.

*sigh*

@Apple and Steve Jobs: You better come out with great stuff or else i will NOT be happy

lol!

Very, very pleased

Up and running in very short order and just plain amazed at how slick it is. Once I had run through the updates I spent a happy couple of hours poking around. Moving to Mac is a big step after too many years of PCs and Windows - so far so good. Expect some 'stupid' questions in the coming days. ;)

Totally know how you feel, that was my first reaction too, but I was amazed it only took me a few nights before I was back editing my website at the speed at which I'd done it on my PC and then by the end of the week I was blitzing my previous productivity =) I LOVE my new Macbook Pro (and not just OSX, the FEEL is out of this world) and pledge Mac forever after ;)

Amazing!!!

I just received my 15" MBP i5 2.4 Ghz today. Amazing fast. I have replaced the original HD with Intel X25 160GB SSD and this thing just blows....
Looking to buy a good case for it now.
Next Upgrade: 8GB RAM

I'd say you still have hope!

I have a 2.8 i7 17" Mbp and I find that Photoshop does have a tendancy to slow Down a little when editing high resolution images,, have you done any preference changes to Photoshop at all or any other system speed changes??

Got my 15" I7 today! If I want to use windows for most stuff would that be really weird?
