How do you feel about knowing you could have saved half by buying a PC that has the exact same performance?
 
Hey guys. Congrats to everyone!!! :D I was just wondering whose delivery estimate is more accurate: Fedex's or Apple's. The shipment notification I got from Apple said delivery by March 2, while tracking from Fedex says delivery on March 3. Thanks for the help in advance. :)

Originally ordered a hi-res glossy screen on Saturday night, but rang and cancelled the order this morning so I could go an compare screens at the Apple store (currently have standard resolution, late 2010 15" Macbook Pro - but sold for what I paid). I have had the anti-glare at the early 2010 refresh, however, I was suffering eye-strain, but I have decided to give it another try as it just felt so much nicer looking at a matte screen and I tend to use my computer for photo-editing and writing code (I intend to increase fonts for when I am writing code).

I'm currently borrowing a notebook with Windows 7 on it, and cannot wait for my new Macbook Pro to arrive (already sold my other one and buyer needed immediately).

It looks like everyone, even they who ordered later than me, will receive their MBPs quite soon :( I hate the fact that I live on the other side of the globe! Don't want to wait until March 15th!
 
UPS updated my tracker this morning to tell me that my MBP is now in Koeln (Cologne), Germany. However they are saying that the package data is being processed by brokerage or something. At least it's a little closer to home now, I'm in Ireland btw.

When did you order? And do you know where it shipped from? I think mine is shipping from america, but it's taking so loooong.

I ordered same day. It shipped a few days ago, but I can't track it yet. It's shipping to Norway, and if yours is already in Germany I can't believe mine won't arrive until March 15th. How do you know where it's shipping from?
 
They gave me a UPS tracking code that I can use on the UPS website to track the package - and the package originated in Shanghai according to that.
 
Just reading on the internet that it my be the shipment papers that are in Germany and not the laptop at all...

FINALLY. After anticipation for more than 2 years, this will be my first Mac ever!

Ordered the higher-end 13" model with configurations set as they are, and I am so darn happy right now!

But since I'm living in SG, and the products are still pending agency approval, I will only be receiving my MBP on the 16th (which I'm sadly already overseas :(:().
