just order my 13" 2011 macbook pro last night

2.3ghz core i5
8gb Ram
750gb HDD

Cant wait for it to get here and replace my aging C2D imac.

How long did it take for your orders to go to "Prepared for Shipment"?

I ordered on the morning of the 26th and it still says "Not Shipped Yet". I get an estimated date of March 4th.

I ordered my 13'' MBP just as the store opened.
Initially I got the ETA for March 4th, now it changed to March 7th.

Its being shipped from Shanghai to Spain (I should mention that its a customized configuration, its the high end 13'' with i7 + SSD)

Lets hope It arrives this week its my first mac, my current laptop is almost 7yo, so I'm eager for the update

I ordered mine a few hours after release on the 24th and mine only changed last night. Estimated 09 Mar, 2011 - 14 Mar, 2011

Just reading on the internet that it my be the shipment papers that are in Germany and not the laptop at all...

I seriously hope that this is not true ! Mine says march 3rd, but as i am living in Germany, i cant imagine that they need 3 days to get it to another city within Germany..

That thing about our MBPs not really being in Germany might be true.

Early this morning the listing showed:
"Koeln, Germany 28/02/2011 9:54 Package data processed by brokerage Waiting for clearance"

And it JUST upated to:
"Shanghai, China 28/02/2011 21:34 Export Scan"

I ordered 17"/ 2.3/High res glossy/500gb/8gb ram on the 24th and it hasnt even shipped yet. The estimated delivery time is between the 09th and 14th of march which I think is ridiculous. When I got the conformation email they also mentioned this

"Due to adverse weather conditions delivery times are being severely affected. We will make every effort to keep you updated on any potential delays to your Order."

Ive looked at the weather conditions in china and I cant find anything wrong and there is nothing wrong here in the UK.

I have also noticed that the funds havent left my acoount yet and they are not in that limbo stage.

Same here, almost.... Ordered a custom 15" at 00.10 on the 26th and got shipping estimate to uk between 7th and 10th march. But i got the weather warning also......

I take it that your in the UK too. It makes no sense as you ordered a custom build after me and will get it delivered before me. It could be as long as 3 weeks.

Im starting to wonder if there has been a problem with the funds not leaving my acoount.

We have a weather warning here in memphis which is a major hub in the US for Fed X. But I had two other packages leave Memphis this morning.

You are right unfortunately, mine just changed to Export Scan as well...
Well if they do put it in the plane now, do you think there is any chance at all, that it will arrive in german households by tomorrow ?

hey guys,

I'm a bit frustrated right now. My UPS trackingstatus hasn't changed since 36 hours, telling me "Incheon, Korea, Republic of, 27.02.2011, 11:43, Departure Scan". Since this I haven't got a new Arrival Scan. I don't think UPS needs more than one day do carry my package to another destination. I'm wondering if the tracking system has a problem...Is there anybody who has the same issue?

I feel for u guys waiting on shipments,i just went to my local apple store and bought it,my question is if you have a place that sells it nearby why order it online and have it shipped? i just went in bought it and 30 min later i was home with my brand new 2011 13" mbp,it is soo fast and i love it! i recently sold a 2010 13"mbp and an ipad 16gb so i could get this and it was worth it!!

Exactly. I could have gone right on thursday and I would be typing this on a brand new 13'' mbp, but I prefer to wait 1 week so on top of the i7 I can have an SSD (and still have my warranty )

I am in the exact same situation. My tracker was lady updated at 11:43am and it hasnt been updated since. I'm going to guess yours is heading to the Uk?

No don't think so. Even though it looks like they do some sort of pre-clearance there will still be a customs inspection. Also it's going to be a rather large shipment which will have to be split up and sorted before dispatch.

Being in the UK mine will still have to take another flight to Stanstead and then a truck to the Midlands.
