I didn't get my email with numbers on my first order weeks ago. But if you go to order status under the apple store It will have your tracking numbers.
If not call apple. There's a delay or problem.

Does fedex work and ship stuff on Sunday's. ??
Not deliver, but my mbp in shanghai and was hoping it would make or to Alaska today...

Can't wait for mine to get here !

I got high end 15, 2.3 ghz, 8G, 256GB SSD, AG.

We were not lucky, a friend of mine also in Montreal ordered the same day i did and he got it friday too.

I'm just going crazy right now having a MacBook Pro 15" 2.2 HD SSD128 + a refurb 1st gen iPad in the mail.

Someone give me a toy to play with :)

Just came back from Manchester with a new 2011 13" MBP. Couldn't help myself. Got the base model and used my Staff card to get Educational discount.

Just finished setting it up and migrating my data and apps over from my old one (which has now been passed onto the wife to use)

Right now, with just safari open downloading something and about 10 tabs, the CPU is idling at 34C, GPU 31C, and the fans are spinning at their 2000rpm, no issues at all.

I haven't put it through it's paces yet, I've been with the SO the whole time I've had it, so I can't nerd out yet ;)

Just got my MBP! Wow! First of all, just the feel of the keyboard and touchpad is so much more amazing than a cheap plastic PC. Coming from a computer that got a geekbench score of like 1,000 - this thing is blazing fast!

Getting use to the trackpad and stuff. I just wanted to know if it took anyone else a bit to get use to it to? Like I keep finding myself trying to right click in the spot where it would have been on my PC. :p But over all, it's amazing!

Anyone care to link me to important resources for a new Mac user? I'd really appreciate it!

This is my 17" quad core MacBook Pro. There are many like it but this one is mine! http://bestc.am/sBIFZ

=)

Did you notice that the label said SDXC card on it? A rare Apple mistake. It had Expresscard like all the 17"s normally do.

I got the 'upgraded' configuration of the 17" that they keep in stock at the Delaware store. Antiglare, 2.3ghz, 750gb 5400rpm drive and 4gb RAM. I'll upgrade to 8gb RAM down the road probably. I so wanted to go to the SSD but it's just not reasonably priced yet to get the size I want/need.

With the special program discount I qualified for and being in tax free Delaware I got this configuration AND AppleCare for $12 less than the $2799 price this usually lists for...

This is my 5th Mac and the first I've ever bought new. My old 15" 2007 era C2D is sitting right next to it now and it's like the 'evolution of man' poster we have all seen.

I'm trying Parallels rather than Bootcamp this time around. If it wasnt for Everquest 1 (shush you!) I'd be 100% OSX all the time but.... I loves me some original EQ... Will see how that goes. There is literally NOTHING on the web that I can find for people who have tried Parallels6 and EQ so it's a crapshoot now. If I have to bootcamp it I will.

Only question I have is what bags are people liking for the 17s? Seems to be a lot more restricted choices. I'm thinking the Brenthaven, but my arm could be twisted by a better choice. I want classy looks, durability, strong straps and not toooo big or heavy. I don't need to pack a lot of crap in with the lappy when I lug it around. Just the mouse and power supply.

Or maybe the Pro-Light:

I wish Amazon carried the first one, but it doesn't look like they do. Brenthaven's site stinks, but I found a link to this actual bag via Google.

Edit:
The video sold me on it. Ordered from the Apple store.

I believe all the labels say SDXC now.

New Mac user here!

Cancelled my online order and finally got the new MBP 13" with the core i5 CPU as my main machine from now on.

Just used it for about 3 hours or so and I am definitely a happy convert.
:D

Hmmmmmmm. Well mine was meant to arrive today but apparently it will be tomorrow instead now. But the annoying thing is according to Apples website, they shipped it on the 28th of Feb but UPS still havent received it yet and have only created the label for it today. So what has it been doing between that time?

Here's to hoping.. even though its only 2 hours away my estimated delivery is Tuesday. They can easily EASILY get it to me tomorrow.. or yesterday :p We'll hope they do.

Ok. This is it. Mine's been delivered!!! But I am now at school...sad.
