I am now posting from my new Macbook Pro 13 inch!!! I absolutely love it, and am getting used to it already after just one hour of use. :D

Ordered mine on Friday.. I'm a PC convert :) Any idea how long it takes from ordering to delivery right now for 15" MBPs?

Can't wait for tomorrow or Wednesday!!! Getting my 13' inch MBP i5 - 128 SSD! So excited! Upgrading my 2007 15"er! I prefer a smaller/lighter laptop. :D

Has it still not shown that it is ready for FedEx/UPS/whatever? Once it shows that, it shouldn't be more than a couple days depending where you are/what shipping package you paid for (or if it was free shipping) :)

I ordered Friday as well, CTO 15" MBP. Still says "Not Yet Shipped"...

I just ordered a 17" 2.2GHz with the 7200 rpm drive to replace a three year old Macbook that's seen better days. I can't wait :) :)

My MBP was shipped on March 9th with an estimated delivery date of March 22nd. It's the 15th already and I still haven't gotten a tracking number. Is that normal?

Any experience with how long it takes from 'Shipment dispatched' to actual delivery? I still don't have a tracking number and I'm going crazy without a laptop here...

It probably depends on who you bought it from. I ordered mine on Amazon.com on the 9th, and it got here yesterday on the 14th.

Just ordered the newest 13' from Amazon. Should arrive tomorrow with $4 prime one-day shipping!

I just got my 15", high end model, and I am loving it! :D
New to macs, so everything is a tad confusing, but so far so good, makes a lovely change from the hell that was a vista laptop! :p

Just ordered the 15" MBP with hi-res and anti-glare.... So excited! My first Mac! Selling my desktop because it is more powerful! haha :)

How does this look? I might just get the 500gb 7200 rpm, but I'd like the speed boost.

I'm going to me making the purchase soon. Currently using a 2005 Imac G5. Needles to say, I need something new.

It looks like you're going to have your mind blown, using that thing after coming straight from a 2005 G5 :p :D

Proud new owner of a 13" i7 MBP. Gotta get home and install the 7200RPM HDD. 8GB of RAM waiting for this as well. Gonna sequester a copy of Parallels 6 (50% off, w00t) and fire up Win7 Ultimate ($15 - go student discounts). Work on some projects tonight.

Lol, might even rearrange the furniture to set the mood. Bow chicka wow wow.

Got my Macbook Pro 15. Loving the computer, but the display is a bit bothersome for me. Don't know whether I should go for the standard res or the hi-res matte. With the standard res, I get the resolution I like, but the reflections I hate. With the hi-res matte, I get the anti-glare I love but the resolution I hate.

Arrrrgh decisions decisions...

Ordered it from Apple.com, paid with wire transfer on 6th of March, got shipped on 11th of March. I'm just anxiously waiting, as I don't have a computer of my own at the moment... The wait is killing me!

I just got a great deal on my new 17" ThunderBook Pro. I am retired Navy, so have NEX (Navy Exchange) privileges, and we received one of their scratch off cards in the mail. We normally only get 5% off from the cards, but today my wife got 15% off. She knew I wanted the 17" model, then when it got rung up, the price was only $2,300! That, combined with the maximum $250 from the scratch off card netted me a brand new 17" ThunderBook Pro for only $2,050!

Needless to say, I am stoked beyond belief! I normally get the 15" model, as $2,000 seems to be my sweet spot, but to get the 17", with the added resolution, better CPU, and better GPU ... this Apple trip is getting better and better! Things are a little bit smaller on the screen now, but that's really what I wanted. I have more room on screen so I'll probably use Spaces just a little bit less. Now if only I could get the final release of Lion on here now! I'll have to be patient and wait a few months for that, however :D
