My MBP was four (4) hours away as of 12:00 A.M. last night. If UPS can't make it four (4) hours in a day, I'm going to... well, I probably won't do anything except sob to myself in the corner and wait another day. Eegghh.

I paid for the 2-3 day shipping, and (once it actually left Shanghai of course) it arrived at about 9:30am on day 2Typically, with the things I've ordered from Apple, that's how it works. It usually ships from the factory within the time window specified, and arrives about a day earlier than the FedEx tracking number estimates
So hopefully I'll get it tomorrow or Saturday. Tomorrow would be really nice...
Mine should arrive on Monday, brandy new MacBook Pro 17" anti-glare, 8gb, 500gb 7200rpm. Gotta get Eclipse and a ton of other software loaded. Then try Boot Camp and load my Windows XP (then SP3). Woo-hoo!
I ordered the 2011 13" MBP base model from Macmall's eBay deal of the day for $1128.99 on Tuesday (and it arrived today!). I also got Paypal to honor another $100 off since my 10% eBay coupon had expired. Macmall also threw in a free Targus wireless mouse! Not bad for $1028.99 shipped!

Did I really waste money on next day shipping for apple to ship it in 3 days? Has anyone else had this problem? I know inbound pissed, I'm just really frustrated right now. I'm kind of in the same boat. Ordered my CTO 2.3 17" on Wednesday but they shipped it Friday and they said it shipped past the cutoff. Now my estimate delivery is next Wednesday even though it shipped Friday and I paid for 2-3 day shipping but won't be getting it in the timeframe I'm supposed to. Super pumped about it though already have the 8gb ram upgrade as well as a OCZ vertex 2 240gb SSD waiting to be installed as soon as it arrives. Should be a good time.
My UPS tracking has been sitting like this for about 18 hours... I received my "Shipped" notification from Apple at 2pm yesterday, it is now 3pm today... so 23 hours...
"A label for this shipment has been created, but UPS does not yet have possession of this shipment. Once we receive the shipment, the tracking status will be updated."
The clock is ticking and if it doesn't get shipped out today it'll have to wait til Monday, which is my delivery date.

Just ordered new MacBook Pro 17" with the standard configuration to replace my mid 2010 Mac Pro Quad-Core. Now I' ve the same performance but with the mobility of a laptop and a good 1920 x 1200 display.
In the next month i will replace the HDD with a good SSD.
I hope it arrives on march 25 !

I've had an iMac for about a year and just sold it to get my new 15' glossy higher end macbook pro. Ordered it on monday and was given an estimated delivery date of next monday but actually shipped today to my amazement!
I love it. it looks amazing and is pretty solid. Just learning the little tweaks like right clicking and scrolling but other then that I couldn't be any happier.

Just got my new high end 15" Macbook Pro delivered yesterday. Ordered on 3/12 with 256 GB SSD, Hi-Res Glossy, 8Gb RAM. Brand new Mac user after my Vaio crashed after 8 years. This machine is just incredible...very happy!!!

Despite "low" (comparatively) resolution, I can promise you that the screen still looks fantastic. I've connected mine to a full 1080p external monitor in case I ever need the higher res but I've been more than pleased with the laptop's screen!

It's half an hour away but I can't pick it up, and it won't be delivered until Monday.

I should point out that until now I've been an avid ANTI-Mac computer user. Been all over Windows and Linux, Android phone user, etc. Really against Apple. I bought this guy because I need the Firewire inputs for audio production, and thus far, I gotta be honest, it's a phenomenal product.
...I'm no "all Apple or nothing" acolyte, but I'm impressed with what I have!

ordered my high end, but standard config MBP (MBP 15.4/2.2/2X2GB/750/SD/GLSY) after noon on 3/17. Shipped on 3/18 and Fedex says it'll be here on 3/22 (Tuesday). It shipped from Pennsylvania and I'm in NC, so I'm hoping when I log on tomorrow it'll be revised to say 3/21 and I can go sit in the carport
It'll be my first Mac and I've heard nothing but good things. I'm moving from a IBM/Lenovo Thinkpad with XP Pro, so I'm just hoping I can move files/email/etc and still do work. My Thinkpad is dying a slow death and I want off of it before it fails. Already copied all my files to an externall HD, and a thumb drive, just for redundancy.
