Normal Shipping?

I ordered a refurb 15 inch 2.4 (2010) macbook pro last wednesday, it arrived at a Fedex location LEWISBERRY, PA, yesterday with no updates yet. I hope it's on the truck and they just forgot to scan it. What is the normal shipping time for a refurb macbook pro? The estimated time of delivery is the 15th.

NOT YET SHIPPED

CAN'T STOP SALIVATING WITH THE PROSPECT OF OPENING UP THE PACKAGING & GETTING ALL WET WITH EXCITEMENT!

Just ordered 8gb Kingston RAM, lifetime warranty can't be bad?

Hurry up pls everything.

Finally put in my base 15" order, the the high resolution anti-glare option.

The new system replaces a > 3.5 year old Santa Rosa 15" 2.4 Ghz C2D that I sold on, really can't wait to get going on the 4 cores and "bigger" screen.

Reckon this machine should keep me developing for another 4-5 years. Was going back and forth between this and a Vaio but the price difference wasn't enough to justify the move back to Windows.

Same deal for me :) Same order and same previous mac, it should arrive today, can't wait!!

I ordered the same machine Sunday afternoon. They shipped it Monday night and I had it in my hands yesterday morning, all with the free standard shipping. Mine shipped from the same place as yours and I live in Virginia.

Just ordered a WD Scorpio Black (750gb, 7200prm) and 8gb RAM from Newegg for my early 2011 13" i7 MBP. Wish I could afford a SSD but this sucker is still gonna flyyyyyy.

Macbook order........

I sure hope they forgot to scan this item and it's in transit. It makes me nervous with no updates since Monday. I ordered this refurb 15" macbook last Wednesday. I have never waited this long for an refurb Apple product.

It is supposed to be delivered tomorrow?

I ordered mine the 5th, it shipped the 11th, and Apple told me that it would arrive the 13th-14th. I've got nothing. Not even a tracking #.

So, admittedly frustrated, I called them. The helpdesk girl told me that my Macbook Pro was still in their Warehouse, about 2 hours away from me, and that no courier had been assigned to it, and the worst thing is, they didn't even know. If I had not called, how much longer would I have waited?

Anyway, my guess is that I'll get it Tuesday or Wednesday, but looking at what happened this week, I wouldn't be surprised if it arrives on Thursday or even Friday...

MBP 17 2.2" Hi-Res Glossy, 8GB RAM + Magic mouse.

Am dissapoint, Apple.

First Mac ever

Here is what I ordered.
17" antiglare
2.2GHz
4GB RAM
500GB 7200
Not here yet! Can't wait, should be here Tuesday. I am sure I am going to have tons of questions once I get this

Just put in my order about an hour ago via online apple store in u.s. -- can't wait! :D

15-inch MacBook Pro
2.3GHz i7
8gb RAM
512gb SSD
Hi-Res Antiglare

I ultimately caved and bought the 17" MBP at Best Buy.

That 15" looks nice, but the larger screen size (1920x1200) is too much to resist (1440x900 is passable and I liked the smaller form factor of the 15") but the 17" outperforms the 15".

I am also going to get an 8GB RAM upgrade. I saw a pair for $170 at amazon or newegg or somewhere... pity the 17" is still sold with just 4GB...

After that, it's time to get AppleCare instead of Best Buy's extended ripoff plan where people on this site are reporting that Best Buy's plan trades hardware spec for hardware spec. The "Apple" brand having zero clout, so if you have a Core2Duo MBP and it goes bad, you'll be given some piece of rubbish thing that won't be able to do anything with... :(

Just opened up my brand new 2.0Ghz MacBook Pro 15. Decided it was finally time to replace the 2006 MacBook. Just popped in a 500GB WD Caviar Black 7200 and doing a fresh install of Snow Leopard. Can't wait to get it up and running!

been a day since I received my 13" MBP, upgrade from MB Mid-2007, it is such a nice upgrade! Love it!

I've had it for a week or so now but I finally replaced my 2006 macbook 2.0 core2duo, 2gb of ram with a 15" mbp w/ 2.2 i7. Got the hi-res screen as well.

DIdn't do the ram upgrade from apple, instead I bought two 1333mhz 2x4 sticks for 112 dollars locally.

Going to do the optibay treatment shortly, planning on a 120gb intel 320 ssd for my os, apps and working files.

I came from the same thing. Night and day difference isn't it?

I finally received my new BTO mbp 13" i5 with Apple's 256GB ssd. I was a bit paranoid about getting it online after reading about people complaining about dead pixels and heat issues, but luckily I didn't seem to find any dead pixels on my screen and the heat issues are so overrated, i've been using it for 3 days now and it's way cooler than my good ol' 07 MacBook!

I'm really glad I picked the pro over the air, I never thought I would say this, but the backlit keyboard is so amazing and I really see why the Air people are pissed about not having it, especially coming from my old dusty keyboard on my 07 MackBook :p I also hooked my old MacBook to a 17" HP display that I have and got one of those Apple's small bluetooth keyboards to use when i'm on my desk, it feels like having a desktop again :D

I just brought home a brand new 17" MBP. It's the standard 2.2/4gig/750gb config. The RAM will be upgraded ASAP and I'll probably upgrade the HD to an SSD at some point, too. I am amazed by how fast this system is. My main computer is a 2008 Mac Pro 2.8ghz octocore that's been upgraded with faster drives, more RAM, and a Radeon 5870. I can't believe how well this laptop can hang with it. I'm also loving the 17" display. I was going back and forth between getting a hi-res 15 or a 17 and I am already glad I got the 17. For editing photos on the road the extra real estate is going to be a must. What a great system, totally worth the price.

New 17" MBP here!

I ordered the 17" with the antiglare screen, 500gb 7200 rpm drive and 2.2/4gig
First Mac ever. This thing is awesome. Best computer purchase I ever made. Now to start messing with it and learn how to use it,lol. It was supposed to be here tomorrow, arrived a day early.

Got my 15" hires 2011 2ghz 750gb yesterday and OH MY GAGA it is amazing, im already looking at my windows laptop in disgust haha.

So I've been checking the tracking on my 15-inch MBP like crazy and I'm supposed to have it by tomorrow, but the tracking information hasn't changed in 22 hours. It's stuck in Memphis, TN, where they're having severe thunderstorms. I wonder if I'll actually get my computer tomorrow :( (I'm really impatient because I don't have a Mac to use right now -- basically only doing casual browsing with a crappy netbook until I get the MBP)

//edit
I got the MBP this morning! It was stuck in Memphis for way over 24 hours but it got on a direct flight straight to California afterwards :D I love my new MBP it's sooo fast *nerdgasm*
