Ordered mine last week, had a fraud alert so didn't get cleared till tuesday morning. Shipped thursday, and has been "In transit - SHANGHAI CN" since thursday night.
Hopefully it'll get updated sometime today.

Wow since thursday it has been like that...You must have some paitence...I check the FedEx tracking every hour to see if it has moved. They did just delivered my Ipod touch though, so i can't wait until work is done to race on home to play with that....But i really want my laptop to be delievered, or at least know that it is shipping along...

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but from the best of my knowledge/experience, this means that your laptop has not yet been built. Once it's been boxed, it'll change to Prepared for Shipment then soon after receiving its tracking number, it'll change to Shipped.

I believe you are right b/c my iPod says that it was on a truck for delivery this morning, but the delivery date still says tomorrow. Also, when the delivery lady brought the printer last week, I asked her about what time she usually delivers since I had some more things coming, and she gave me the times starting with Tuesday. I wondered why she didn't mention Monday!

My MBP has not moved since the 13th either, but I am just focusing on the delivery date of the 18th rather than what it is doing until then. Or trying to anyway!

Just got my 15.4" refurb unibody MacBook Pro a bit ago. It's amazing build quality. The keyboard and display are much nicer than my 2007 MacBook, and I love the feeling of the metal so much more than the plastic. Awesome. I didn't check to see what firewire port was on the machine, though, so I need to buy a different cable for my firewire hard drive as well as the adapter to DVI. Well, unless I can function with the 15" screen instead of the 22" monitor I have at home. Space-saving would be nice.

Gonna take me awhile to get used to the new trackpad, too. My thumb keeps reach down to where the button used to be.

All in all, this is a pretty sweet machine.

Oh... I'm getting sooo mad... I'm about at the point where I wanna call FedEx and be like, what's the freakin' hold up? Now you've just wasted away another business day and it's not even in the United States yet!? Am I in the wrong for wanted my computer shipped last night when its just sitting in a FedEx holding facility somewhere in Shanghai? It's extremely displeasing... I'm second guessing whether I will ever order anything custom from Apple again.

Ugh, I'm also going insane! My MBP left China quickly once it was built, but it's been sitting 30 mins away as 'int'l shipment release' as the only change in 4 days. Pick up my computer already!

This'll definately be the last BTO I order. The wait for FedEx is driving me crazy!

Just got my brand new 15" MacBook Pro today!! After a few hours of messing around with my first Mac, I'd have to say the hardest part is not being able to use Chrome. I do love the multitouch trackpad though.

Hopefully tomorrow I will be heading to the appols stoar to pick up a MacBook Pro 13" 2.26GHz.

I don't do anything besides Photoshop that would require anything too intense - just need it for mobility.

Hey I ordered my new 13" MBP the day they got released (a week ago). The shipping status is still at Not Yet Shipped, I'm just wondering if anybody is in the same position as me. And btw I'm from Canada if that helps. Just need answers, cause I can't wait to get my baby.

Question for you: Did you by any chance upgrade your HD to a SSD?

Happily, I was wrong. They just delivered my iPod Touch, and it's a day ahead of the scheduled delivery date. So, they do deliver on Mondays. Woohoo! Now, I just need that MBP!

Then all you have to wait for is for it to make it's incredible voyage oversea's....Coming up a little over 2 and half days since my macbook has "left China" Seriously, what is taking so long? Anyone else noticed if their tracking has budged?

Do you have an iPhone/iPod Touch? If so, can you do me a favor and download Package Track Lite and tell me what that says? I'm in the same situation, mine has been in Shanghai since Thursday but the package tracking app claims it is in South Korea!

I just bought the touch and it has already arrived at my house. when i get home tonight i will chekc it out and report back my findings...

Mine's not budged yet... beginning to wonder how it's going to make it here in 3 days.

I checked Package Track Lite and tells me the same FedEx.com tells me.

I'm predicting that they will go out tonight (Tuesday in China) and they will make it Anchorage Early Tuesday Morning as it crosses the International Dateline.

Package Tracker Lite states my iPod Touch just made it to Anchorage, AK, while it's not updated on FedEx and says it's still in China.

However, my MBP is still stuck in China on both tracking sites. Grrr.
