At this rate, i would be surprised if it got delievered by Thursday up to N.H. So glad that i spent 18 dollars for the 2-3 day shipping...That was totally worth it. I have spent almost 3 days looking at the same status message...

Same. I'll be amazed if it makes it to my house in Connecticut by the 18th.

Call Apple and demand a refund. That's what I'll be doing tomorrow if my laptop isn't on a plane from Memphis, TN to Charleston, SC. It just left Anchorage tonight at 5pm local time. It shipped Friday morning from China.

Question to: pizorian, ryantcollier, rfb, vol7ron;

Does your FedEx tracking say it was shipped from Shanghai because mine doesn't. I ask you because I think all of ours will be in the same shipment and I'm wondering if I'm the only one's who didn't update.

Both FedEx.com and Package Tracker lite indicate my order shipped from Shanghai; it may be premature, but I'm guessing the hold up is the customs process (I think in Alaska). It wouldn't surprise me to see a multiple line update in a few hours or by tomorrow morning at the latest. :)

I ordered mine Tuesday and it's, also, still in China... I'm rippin' mad.

Me too. :( My delivery date still says the 18th...any chance of that actually happening?? We're being punished for not supporting local retailers! Plus, someone got an extra $50 off?? WTH? I could have used that to purchase my own 2GB of extra Ram, and I'd have it right now. I will cry if there is anything wrong with it when it finally gets here!

I hope you're right. My status also remains the same in both Package Tracker Lite and the FedEx web site.

Does the 'clearance detail' link on anyone's FedEx status page link to anything? I get a page with the result of:

ordered mine on Saturday and just got updated that it has been delivered to FedEx in Sacramento, CA. expected delivery is Wednesday to SoCal :D

dont know why all of you are having to wait from China, my friends also got shipped directly from Sacramento

Is yours BTO? West Farms has everything in stock, and if you get the student discount, the free ipod rebate is instant.

uh, are you sure? thats not right, you still have to file for the rebate online using your receipt and wait for it like everyone else.

Custom configurations come from China. People ordering stock machines are getting them quick domestically.

I got the uMBP 2.4ghz/2gb/250gb in November 2008, but sold it in January 2009. February 2009 I bought this uMBP 2.8ghz/4gb/320gb 7200rpm and now they are so cheap lol.
I want the 7hr battery one now, trying to see how am I going to sell this.
Gotta go play with the 17" a bit and see if i should shoot for 1 of those instead bigger resolution is nice.

ah of course, makes sense. i just assumed some of these guys were ordering stock configs as well. now why you would pay Apple to upgrade instead of doing it yourself is another story.

Unfortunately, I didn't realize it would such a hassle for them to change a hard drive, add iWork and throw and Apple Remote in there but hey, I guess weird thing happen. Next time, I'll buy one stock or in the store and do it myself in like 20 minutes.

In Connecticut, you get an instant rebate for the free iPod offer. To prove it, I'll post a screen shot of my order in this post.

LOL... the reason I didn't get a free printer is because we have like 4... mine is a Print, Scan, Copy Kodak, and it still works wonderfully... plus I'm moving to Florida and it's just another thing I'd have to lug down eventually.

Never in my WILDEST dreams did I ever think it would take this long to ship. I'm calling FedEx when their International Office opens at 8 am.

Days spent in China waiting for a plane: 4

Estimated delivery: June 18th. Good luck FedEx.

I bought my 13" MBP last week on Thursday. The very first one from the Shepherd's Bush Apple Shop :) Very happy with it actually. There's all this hoopla about the SATA thing, but for me the weight, power and screen are perfect for what I wanted. A solid dev machine I could use at my desk or on the move with equal ease.

I have used Linux as my primary desktop platform for goodness knows how long, so I'm surprised I took to OSX so easily.

Just need to deal with the mouse acceleration ...

Hi... you might be able to change trackpad acceleration in System Preferences-> Mouse or Trackpad... see what it gives you as options.

FedEx, i hate you very much right now....This is pathetic....No wonder you guys are doing so badly....Apple Really needs to think about switiching companies....I am quite upset about this. How difficult is it to move these things through customs? They do it every freaking day...

Is there an easy way to upgrade the processor as a DIY job?

OMG! It's more then a week now that I have ordered my 13" MBP, and it's still "not yet shipped"!!:mad::mad::mad:

I'm not liking this, I ordered it the day it came out, not impressed with apple. I didn't even upgrade my MBP, I only got the DVI adapter and remote. How long does it take to throw 2 littles things in the box. Can't believe it!:(
