FedEx usually knows when they can get things to people... so since my date hasn't changed since the 13th, im assuming they'll get it to me on Thursday.
Going to the apple store to pick up my first mac on Thursday- 2.66Ghz 15" MBP. Can't wait, having a hard time sleeping lol. Just got one quick question, what display model should I see when I check under system preferences for the 15" model? Just worried about that whole vertical line situation right now. I'm in Canada if that makes a difference. Any tips for a first time mac user? Thanks for the help!

.... yeah. That's from iship.com. FedEx tacking stops at the 21hr one and Package Tracker Lite states the same thing as iship... I don't get it since many arrived at the same time as mine but mentioned arriving to AK already. My iPod Touch is scheduled to arrive tomorrow and left AK just a couple of hours ago.
Has anyone had a tracking not updated but the day that it gets delivered, the information miraculously appeared? I don't want to be stuck at home waiting for days when I could be doing many other things than wait for FedEx all day.

ok, so i just got my 15" MBP in and it is perfect although i am slightly disappointed that i guess that leopard and all of the applications take up a hell of a lot of room, my hard drive is suppose to be 250GB and when I opened it without putting anything on there at all, it was already sitting around 210, i checked with the apple store and they said that was right. kind of sucks i feel like i'm getting screwed out of hard drive space but i guess thats just life, 40 gigs wow
I cant see how yours will arrive Thursday. Mine is scheduled to arrive then too and it just left Alaska. I don't think yours can make it from China to wherever you are in 2 days unless you're on the West Coast.

I live in Southwest Florida, ha ha. Don't think it'll make it on Thursday or I'll be realllly surprise. That is what is getting me so to see everyone that is scheduled for 6/18 to have theirs leaving Alaska and mine hasn't even gotten there...

If it leaves China any hour (since it's 11:42AM there) and gets to AK after, and leaves early in the morning tomorrow, then TN, then Orlando, and finally Fort Myers to Naples than maybe I'll get it haha... which could be a possibility but only if it leaves China pronto.
But yours will definitely get there. I got my printer from TN hub and it shipped out early in the morning and got to me bright and early in the morning the next day. With SC being closer, you are safe, haha.
Mine says the exact same thing also at 2:51 p.m. today. I'm still hoping for the 18th. In a way, I wish I couldn't track. This can really drive a person insane! I'm just glad it's not in China anymore!

Remember, a drive marketed as having 250 gigs actually has 232.8 Gigabytes-- the confusion stems from the fact that 1000 != 1024; marketing uses the former, computers speak the latter. Welcome to the wonderful world of deceptive marketing, eh?
It hasn't even been a day yet, just relax for now. It took me a while to get out of China as well.

If you're estimated delivery is the 18th I'd call FedEx when their international office opens at 8 am EDT. If I recall you need yours by the 25th right? There's a big likelihood that you'll have it by a week and a day from now if it's already started the shipping process.
So yesterday the fedex website said that my computer would ship that day and be here thursday. When I went to bed it still hadn't shipped, and when I woke up and checked it had shipped but now won't arrive until Monday! I'm not aggravated that it's taking a little longer, but I want my money back for that 2-3 day shipping. Who do I talk to about that? Fedex or apple?
Well if it shipped today, 3 business days (which usually exclude the weekend) would mean it arrived Monday. Thursday = day 1, Fri = 2, Monday = business day 3
FedEx now has possession of my new toy, can't wait to get her!
