Yeah, I checked mine this morning, and got something similar. Delivery date changed from June 19 to June 23. Oh, well. Fortunately, I'm not in a big hurry, since I have a perfectly acceptable iMac. However, I was really hoping I'd be able to play with it this weekend.

I got my refurbished macbook pro yesterday. It came earlier than I anticipated. I played with it last night for a while but since it is my first mac so the transition from pc to mac will take a while to get used to it.
I was so excited to get a mac, but now that I've it, it seems like just another laptop: no more excitement
there is little noise when I start up the mac, I wonder if this is for all the mac computer products. One thing that I didn't like is the font display on websites: it is just not so nice and smooth like windows. On some of the websites, it seems so bad that it was hurting my eyes and I had no problem on windows. I guess, I'll get used to it. and yeh it gets hot really quickly
Like anything, the newness will fade.
Macs tend to be far quieter than most other laptops; I don't think this is accidental.

Heh, not everyone lives within range of one. I've got a friend who's a good six hours (he's in Maine) from the closest Apple Store; even for a Mac that's a smidgen far to drive...

I ordered through my employer's employee discount, I don't qualify for the education discount and I'm pretty sure they don't honor the discount in store. I live in STL, there are two in our area, guess I should have asked might have saved myself a week of anticipation. Oh well. Live and learn.
Well after talking to a fedex rep, I found that my MBP will be here no later than Friday instead of net Monday or Tuesday! Great day!
Apple retail stores honor employer discounts, military discounts and student discounts in store.
Alright so im stoked bc last nite i just ordered my first mac which is obviously the MBP or else i wouldnt b in this thread. its mid 15 model and i upgraded the to 7200 rpm..and then i had to call today 2x bc of a authorization issue with JUNIPER and apple gave me a $30 discount for the trouble even tho its in no way their fault. i am very pleased and super excited for around the 24th!! and on top of that i got the education discount even tho im a HSsenior bc im payin for a college class...life is good. 
FedEx now has possession of my new toy, can't wait to get her!

My 12" Power Book has lasted a long time.
Well looks like i get to wear the dunce cap, the printer i ordered is already prepared for shipment so it's too late to cancel. . . and just go pick it up at the store. Maybe I'll get a fresh one this way

Well... apparently my computer only departed from Alaska at 4:59 PM Anchorage time and my estimated date of delivery is still tomorrow... I'm seriously doubting Fedex's abilities to pull through... but I'm kinda still holding out hope, seeing as the estimated delivery date hasn't changed... one can only hope. But then again, it could really be on it's way (on the ground) already... who knows.

Same here, I am thinking it will arrive in New Jersey in a couple of hours. Probably around 3am EST and then later on the 18th our MBPs should be in CT for delivery.
