Wow! Let us know if that is what you actually get! A $600 discount on a new system is really unusual.

Well it's not 100% "new". He purchased it 3 months ago and never unwrapped it. Considering it is the 2013 model, it can't be older than February 13, 2013 so I am not too concerned.

I verified all the specs a few times before forking over the money :)

Was going to wait for Haswell refresh but seemed like saving ~1000 dollars (with tax and junk) is worth getting it now.

Am I the only one who this thread glitches for? It says I'm reading page 334 out of 335 but if I click 335 it redirects me back to 334.

It's a common problem with forums that use a particular technology. Not sure why it happens but it happens towards the end of a page. Maybe the engine creates a dummy page before the current one fills up?

Interesting. I've never seen it. Thanks for explaining it though!

Ordered my refurb over 24 hours ago, still not dispatched. When should I start to be concerned? :D

I think it happens when the number of pages of a thread reaches a configurable or hardcoded threshold... It is likely a bug...

Sweet victory! :)

how!!!????

I admire those that are buying now. They say if you need it now, buy it now. I certainly do, but given how much better the hardware is, I'm doing my best to wait. Especially if we see a July release.

I just ordered refurbished MacBook Pro retina 15"
8GB Ram, 2.6 GHz, 512 GB SSD for $2019

I think about returning it and get the refurbished MacBook Pro retina 15"
8GB Ram, 2.3 GHz, 256 GB SSD For $1599

Do you guys think this is a good idea?
I plan to install Windows 7 or 8 (boot camp)
I don't play game. But I download movies/musics a lot!
I also have 1TB external hard drive

how!!!????

I found a seller on ebay who has been selling this model between $1900-$2100. He sells a bunch of them and definitely reccomend buying from him. I was very skeptical at the beginning, given the price, but I got it in 3 days and it was brand new still sealed in plastic! He sells out very fast though so I just kept looking.

I definitely planned on waiting for the new hardware, but given my budget I would of only been able to afford the base model when the new ones come out. However, even though I got the 2013 model, I was able to get the high end macbook pro with 16gb ram and a 512gb SSD for even cheaper than the baseline haswell model will be :)

Can you tell me the seller name, please?

My rMBP arrived! I'm so pleased! Glad I didn't wait. The screen is amazing! Just playing around with it and getting to know OSX!

He has 0 macs for sale....

As I said in my previous post, they sell out very fast. When I bought mine he had 2 up for sale for $1900 each and they all sold in about in an hour. If you look at his "completed listings" you will see the ones he has sold. His most recent was on June 18th for $2000.

I saved a search on the ebay app on my iphone and just refreshed it every few hours for maybe two days and I finally caught one and bought it immediately.

I talked to others he sold them too as I was skeptical and they said he gets them from a distributer because the package was sent from B&H Photo which is a website and store in NY. I was also told to message him and ask when he will be getting more in. I didn't have to do this as I already purchased mine at the time but it's work a shot!

Did he say when he's gonna sell it again?
I messaged him on ebay but got nothing back
