Received mine yesterday around noon (with standard shipping). Was originally scheduled for delivery this coming Tuesday, and later changed to Monday. Unbelievably fast times coming all the way across the ocean from China. Greatest surprise ever!!!
 
Wow looks like I'm indeed going to get it today on a Saturday. It left Kentucky (finally) and it is now just 30 minutes away from me. Should say "out for delivery" hopefully soon.
 
Is there any chance the order status changes from processing to preparing for shipment on a saturday or sunday?
Or is it strictly on business days?

I doubt it but mine went to preparing for shipment about 1 hour ago but it's Sunday early morning in China right now so we may not see anything until tomorrow around this time.

Mine is also stuck in Shanghai, I've waited for almost half a year now, but these last few days are definitely the worst :(

I've orderd the 15 inch/ 2,3 Ghz/ 8Gb/ 512Gb/ Iris version :).
 
Still "in transit", but at least there's a FedEx jet in the air heading towards Anchorage now. Maybe it'll update later today if it was on there after all.

I doubt it, unless it's different in the US. My tracking updated to Mississauga at around 8:40 last night. It is literally 10mins away from. Y house. By it's now 1:30 in the afternoon and no change.

Looks like I'll be getting it monday
 
I just saw the same, I was really happy that the export scan showed up, and the I saw the new scheduled delivery :(.

How did you guys find the flights? I coudn't find the one going to Europe. UPS' site says that their air hub is in Cologne/Bonn airport. Can you find the appropriate flight for me?

Whoops! Just noticed that I linked the wrong flight.

Mine is going to Europe too (living in Denmark), but all shipments from Shanghai goes through UPS+Fedex's large hub in Anchorage, and then goes to Europe.

The plane will land in 7 hours and 33 minutes (3:48 am here in Denmark - one hour before in England).

Are you sure about that? I found the flight UPS9 which is going from Shanghai to Cologne/Bonn and left at about the time that my status changed to Export Scan. Any chance to be in this flight?

Hmmm maybe :eek: maybe mine's on that one too. Just saw some posts here from some users in Denmark having bought an iMac, and that went through Anchorage from Shanghai. But maybe this is different? We can only speculate :D just get it to me FAST!

I know that Apple books "private" flights when new products are introduced to cover the needs. So, maybe this is a charter UPS flight tha Apple booked to transfer our BTOs to Europe. In addition, my BTO was given to UPS yesterday morning about (48 hours before) and it only left China an hour ago. I now believe that this was done because they were waiting for this flight. They could put it in yesterday's flight to Anchorage.

Hmm, it's strange that I can't find that on FlightAware. But yeah that could be the case.
 
How can you guys tell which flight your MBP is on?

So UPS did come today on a Saturday. I was waiting all the time in my house, I didn't leave or anything and today I get a notification that the delivery was missed and the customer wasn't available and a second delivery will be made on Monday. :mad:

UPS! WHY! ARGH! I was here, they didn't even ring the doorbell. Nor did I see any UPS trucks! Checked with UPS and they have the correct address. Not sure what's wrong? I can't believe I could have had my laptop today but I think the driver messed up.

15"/2.3/512Mb/gt750m/LG screen

coming from a late 2008 MBP.. can't get over how much faster it is. It's also a lot thinner. I think I'm in love!

It's fan's are pretty serious; when they spin up (not that often) it's a lot louder than the old one.

Just updated with departure scan from Shanghai. So maybe it got on a later plane? Delivery estimate back to Wednesday wooohooooo!! :eek:
 
I think I found mine.

Departure Scan was 23:58 Oct 26. So if this plane left 2 hours after, it might be onboard. The only flight that left Shanghai since Oct 25.



Does this mean UPS pre-scanned arrival as soon as the item is onboard? Or does it mean the package just arrived at some warehouse in Shanghai?
