My 2.4/16/256 13-inch rMBP got delivered today, but since I have everything delivered to my office, and I'm at home today, I wont get my hands on it until tomorrow
I just returned my 13" rMBP.
Not because I didn't like it... I'm just getting 256GB instead of 128GB. I stupidly thought 128GB would be enough
UPS picked up my rMBP today and as soon as they process the return I'll order the correct size.

Just bought two 15" 2.3/16gb/512/750m rMBP last Friday, one for me one for the GF. No creak no yellow tint on either of them. Color quality is amazing its as good if not better than the Asus PA246 monitor i have for the desktop. Been using the system continuously all weekend long.
This laptop has made me a full convert to Apple, something the iPhone/iPad couldn't do. Paired with their Airport extreme routers w/TC everything just works and backups are something I no longer have to think about. The only hard part is learning how to use the new to me OS X.
Spent a few hours with my new 15" rMBP/750m/512gb/16gb ram, Samsung display. Wow, it's tremendous, and my first retina screen excluding iPad's/iPhone's.
Previously had a late 08 mbp, 2011 mba and now this. Aside from all the obvious whizz bang, it's great having black bezels again, really do much prefer them to the alu coloured ones of the mba.
Loving the battery life too - took it off the mains about 2.5 hours ago, only down to 81%. Been very light usage though so far admittedly, the most taxing being a few gb worth of downloads.

So far just internet/msoffice/videos/ usage and I'm getting 8-9 hours on a full charge, the bottom of the macbook gets slightly warm but not really enough to notice.
For games/bluray ripping I have the macbook plugged in and thats the only time it gets warm enough that it is uncomfortable for long periods on my lap. ill have to try running borderlands 2 without the macbook plugged in.

128 shouldn't even be an option these days. 256 is plenty and enough for most people, but with 128 you just have no breathing room at all.
I know. I was a fool to think it would be enough and considered just using my time capsule but it really left me with very little space after my back up had completed.
Oh well. I live and learn

Got mine 05.11.2013. MBP 13"-r 512/8GB/2,6GHz.
What a machine! I had doubts about going from 15" to 13", but after sitting in the couch twidling with it, transfering files from the old mac, and setting it up like i want it, I have no regrets.
display looks awesome, it appears "snappy" and fast, the weight is almost Air-ish, and almost no heat while transfering rather big files in to my new mac.
I also tried (for me) the new mirror function, and tried to watch web based TV on my TV. Using mirror and ATV. It was flawless.

No delays for me ordering direct from Apple. Ordered it on a Saturday, it shipped the following Tuesday.
BTO 13 rMBP, 16gb/2.6i5/256SSD. UPS shows delivery date of next Monday.

This is exactly what happened to me. Woke up to find it was out for delivery! Well pleased, although I'm doing some work at the moment so haven't had too much time to play with it.
No delays for me either, ordering online from Apple. Ordered on Friday 11/1, shipped from China 11/4 and was delivered 11/6.
I just experienced the true power of Apple's might. Called AppleCare to exchange my original BTO 15" due to some minor cosmetic damage and a slightly creaky back strip on Saturday evening. They were incredibly helpful and ordered my replacement on the spot and sent it even before I mailed back my original one yesterday. My new replacement was shipped from China yesterday via next day shipping and I received it at my door before noon today. No hold was placed on my account for the new machine even though they haven't received the old one yet. I guess they were serious when they said they wanted to make sure I wasn't without a machine for too long. Pretty impressive reach they have.
Was looking at this configuration. How do you like it? Screen? Any freeze up issues?

Did you avoided tax or have a very low tax where you are, or have a better than educational pricing deal? That same configuration to Puerto Rico, USA (Tax here is 7%), without the Applecare ($183 cost excluded, since Apple won't sell it to me here
) would be $2010
