And of course. Heck, the MBP will also have my first webcam (I know, that's kinda sad...or at least I think so....) so plan on seeing a review of the machine maybe that saturday or so on youtube. That's another bonus. More youtube vids. (Oh, and my youtube name is the same as here...and everywhere else....kinda wanna change names, but don't want to for continuity's sake...lol)

Ordered stock 2.8 17" MBP (6/17) and my order is coming from Ontario, CA, I thought they get shipped out from from Shanghai, CHINA? It says expected delivery on the 22 though, it would be SWEET!!! if it got here tomorrow. I did order from the ADC so I don't know if that had anything to do with it.

Did a look up on the forums (should of done that first), it seems this has happened to other people ordering to the UK. The package is still in Asia but the customs papers were sent to Germany for authorisation then sent back, the next stage from where I am at the minute should be when it hits the UK shores.

So there is still hope for the 22nd delivery that Apple are showing me.... I hope

i hope i get it today as promised.

They will probably do what they did to me and a couple others on here. My delivery was set for the 18th, yesterday, ever since it was in China and then the day it was supposed to arrive it didn't seem like it was possible. I then called them and they said that "oh you definitely aren't going to het it today but you'll definitely get it on Friday". So, hating to be the bearer of possibly bad news, you might not get it until Monday. *winces*

Ah a fellow drummer! Yes, you are absolutely right about how much there is to drumming--much more than can be taught on a mac forum haha. How long have you been playing? Also, to the guy wanting to learn to play-(I'd address you by name but I am on my iPhone LOL) check out http://www.pearldrummersforum.com. Loads of information about drumming and lots of knowledgable, helpful people to help get you started in a fantastic hobby!

Well it says it is due to be delivered today "Before 7pm" and its on the truck. But since I leave the office around 4 on Fridays, hopefully they drop it off before then. If not i'll just have to wait until Monday.

Not sure how far the local FedEx center is for you but if they try to deliver it, you can pick it up, I think... you can with UPS but only once they try to deliver it.
