I'm so excited! I'm upgrading from a 13 inch mid 2012 non retina.
I actually had the 2015 rMBP but decided to up it and get the big boy. Its totally overkill for me but I rather have it than need it.
Did you order a sleeve yet? I'm trying to find a good one that won't break the bank.
How does it compare to your 2012 Macbook Pro Retina in terms of running OSX and UI lag and overall performance ? Is it the same or better ?Hi all
Just had delivered an early 2015 13 inch rMBP, 3.1ghz, 16gb Ram, and 512gb SSD from EBay, has only had 9 battery cycles so still ha stage new laptop smell!!
This is replacing a 2012 15 inch retina pro,
Very impressed with it so far, it will primarily be used for Lightroom and image processing, I had a quick go and it had no problem processing some large files. One of the main reasons to purchase it was the ability to plug in 4K at 60hz. I plugged in my Dell p2715q, it worked like a charm, even with some high resolution photos, I couldn't detect any lag with I was pleased about, it was getting warm though.
Certainly looking forward to using this more!
I was looking at skins last night. They wanted $45 for both the top and bottom. Almost bought but sat on it wondering how durable they actually are
Thanks, please do. I ordered a top and bottom also yesterday. Where did you order from? Not to stray off the topic of the thread but I ordered a top and bottom skin for my 15" Pro and it should be here tomorrow or Friday. I will let you know how the quality is once I get it.
^^^^ Nice!!!! I swear I am in love with mine.
I just picked up my computer to clean under it and I found a nice little dent in the bottom. Just my luck. It's going back and I may just hold onto my old one until a redesign or processer update comes along. How disappointing.
Upgrading from a 1.3ghz i5 Macbook Air.
