Thanks for the tip, hopefully they work... I don't really need a monitor, but I want to take advantage of a product Apple is "endorsing" for lack of a better term that's 25% off for some reason. I guess after 2016 it goes back up in price. I've had the 24" Cinema Display for 6 or 7 years now. Still works great, but don't want more dongles, having a ton more resolution will be nice, and I kind of want a 27" instead of 24".Funny, I got a set of those adapters too. All you really need on the go. Test that they both work though. I had one that didn't. Love the Apple TV, but I honestly never airplay since my content is already in there or my Roku. Jealous of your on the way LG display. I've had my monitor for only a year so I won't be in the market anytime soon. I'm sure you know, but the dongle thread has good info on dongle/setup options.
