Got the 2.53 with 2-3 day shipping .... hope it arrives by Friday
I've been patiently waiting for three weeks when I spilled water on my old macbook (may it rest in peace) and insurance reimbursed me.
Anyone else order one?
Mine had a departure scan in China on Sunday, then had an export scan on Sunday as well and no tracking updates since.
Hoping it shows up in the states soon. It still said it’s going to be delivered on the 28th, but I am thinking maybe not if it doesn’t have an import scan soon. It does have to get to NY, so that usually adds a day.
Just ordered a 13 inch MBP in Space Gray from Apple directly. Paid $14 for the expedited shipping, so it should be here between 08/02 - 08/04.

I didn’t even bother look into the price of expedited shipping. I assume it would be much more than $14. I highly regret that decision.
My new MBP arrived last evening. I've played with it a bit and love the new keyboard, I actually prefer it to my current MBP's keyboard. I also love the display and the trackpad. After work today I'll be using migration assistant to transfer my data and settings from my old MBP to the new one. Can't wait to really try it out then.
I called UPS because my last tracking since Sunday was the export scan (4 days now) and I haven't seen it hit the states yet. My scheduled delivery is tomorrow. I can't wait to see them pull this off.
Generally I would see it go from China, to Alaska to Kentucky to Syracuse NY to Albany NY.
I am expecting to see a "rescheduled delivery" date tomorrow.
EDIT: About an hour after I called UPS the tracking up updated. He left China now and is rescheduled for Tuesday. Coincidence, maybe?

My order said it departed Shanghai early today and is expected to arrive by end of day tomorrow. I paid for the express shipping and the original estimate was 7/28 to 8/2. I would be very happy if it comes tomorow. My order on Apple.com now says delivers July 28.
LOL you passed me. I ordered mine on the 20th. Delivery date was the 28th. Now set for the first. Now regretting the free shipping option even more.

Its driving me crazy I can't track shipping to the store! Still says "Available July31st". I was hoping it'd come in early. like today or tomorrow so I have the weekend to organize before class on Monday.

I got to say I like the keyboard on this. I think I am used to the feel because I have been using an iPad Pro keyboard. Feels a little different than that, but somewhat similar.
Now that I have moved all my needed data and files to my new 2017 MacBook Pro I have to say I LOVE it. Although the keys are louder for sure, love the feels of them. I am really enjoying the force Touch trackpad and I'm using the touch bar and finding that it is quite useful in combination with all the keyboard shortcuts I've always used. The monitor is gorgeopus having never had a retina monitor on any of my previous macs, this is a great upgrade for me. Not regrets and no issue with dongles because I am using the Elgato thunderbolt 3 dock.i will use that at work to connect to our network by gigabit Ethernet, connect my monitor, speakers and power my MacBook Pro. So far I think that the Elgato TB 3 dock is also a winner. No dongles for me, just plug in one thunderbolt cable and go.
I got a 13" nTB model this past Monday and I am really loving it. Keyboard took some getting used to, but as of now I really like the feel.
The display is of course amazing.
Very thin and light.
Had to grab a USB-C to DisplayPort cable so I could drive my 4K monitor at 60 Hz.
Speakers are a huge step up from the 2015 model I had before.
Trackpad is huge which is a plus.
Only "downside" is it feels a little... "daintier" than my 2015, that one felt like a tank compared to this. Although it does make this new one feel more "premium" and expensive.
All in all, I love it.

My delivery date was pushed back then magically went back to the original delivery date so hopefully you'll get the same result
After returning the a 2016 MBP 15 in December within the 4 week return window (some bugs) I have now taken possession of a new 2017/MBP/15/3.1/1T model in silver - happened to be available right in the Store. It sucks to set all up again - I do a clean set-up and just transfer what is needed from my Late 2008 MacBook - but these are 2 hr
I am mazed again how much more performance 9 years bring...
Wait! How did you get a 4 week return window? I just bought my 2017 16GB, 512GB HDD, 13" nTB 3 weeks ago, and I would love to send it back for the 2016 15" refurbished one if possible.
In the holiday period (Christmas/Year End) Apple has an extended return period.
