Got the 2.53 with 2-3 day shipping .... hope it arrives by Friday :D

I've been patiently waiting for three weeks when I spilled water on my old macbook (may it rest in peace) and insurance reimbursed me.

Anyone else order one?
Also ordered a Refurbished MacBook Pro from Amazon. I'm coming from a Windows environment...a lil learning curve. So I'm working my way around the screens etc.

Go on then... was really hoping it'd come with Thunderbolt 5 for a ton of future-proofing, but I yolo'd it anyway.

Was planning on sticking with silver but figured a change would be nice. Hopefully it'll look okay next to the XDR still :)

Nice!! That was what I was planning on getting but last minute went for the 8TB out of fear, 4TB deffo the sweet spot though :)

Mines up for deliver 16th-20th so looks like we're in a similar boat. I did briefly see the estimate at 7th-14th but after a minute or so of debating the colour, it jumped to the week after. Hopefully we get it early!

I've ordered a MBP 14", M3 Pro, 18GB, 512GB Space Black. Delivers Nov 7. Can't wait!

Currently rocking an early 2015 MBP 13" so this is quite the upgrade. Perfect timing too, I'm in the UK and am going on holiday to the US in November so am picking it up from a friend there — quite a bit cheaper than UK pricing.

Nice upgrade. You will love Apple Silicon.

Just ordered an M3Max(40)/2T/64G. Delivery expected on 15 Nov.

Does anyone know if that RAM configuration is viable? If the M3 uses 12GB stacks, that sounds like the 64GB config is using "cut-off" modules? Is that true? Does that matter?

Debating if I should keep it or lower to 48GB in that case. 128 is too much and too expensive.

Edit: Seems it’s actually using 16GB modules, hence the options of 48, 64 and 128, so there shouldn’t be any issues.

I went for an M3 Pro, 36GB/1TB and was very pleased to see it delivers next week. I didn't want to go for the Max as I don't need the power of that for my portable machine and with the M2 Max, the machine runs hotter than the Pro under normal circumstances.

I went for a 14 inch M3 Max 40 GPU Core, 4TB, 64GB, in silver as I like the classic look (and hate fingerprints).

I plan to consolidate my Macs by selling my existing M1 Pro 14, M1 Max 16 and M1 Max Studio - I think with the specs I chose the 14 inch M3 Max can serve in all roles (and I will keep the M1 Air for the couch).

I am a bit nervous about heat and battery life on the Max models in a 14 inch chassis - fingers crossed!

Same as you, 16" M3Pro 1TB, only that I stayed at 18GB. I really don't think I would need the power of the Max or Pro chips if I'm honest. I do office work, browsing, and I want to get into light video editing (peer pressure because y'all here do it haha). I wouldn't get a Max because, as you say, I want my machine to be cool and the battery to last long, and I have read that these ultra-powerful chips will impact battery life when they get busy. I thought of getting the Macbook Air 15" (I want a big screen), but the display is underwhelming compared to the Macbook Pro: the XDR is beautiful and I like displays as bright as possible. Then there's the better sound, better connectivity, etc. I also had doubts about this purchase because I already have a Studio Display M2 Max and I wondered if I would need two machines so powerful. But the great display, battery life and sound to carry around everywhere sold me (with a little help from the new, beautiful space black color). No regrets here and can't wait until Nov 15-17. 😃

Just ordered a M3 Max 1TB/36GB Silver. Delivery 15-17 November (in the Netherlands)Glad to see I'm not the only one with the binned M3 Max!

Glad to see I'm not the only one who order the binned M3 Max. It seems like the most balanced option in the M3 line-up.

I'd had a new 15" Air arrive last week but left it in its box pending last nights event to see what may come of it... glad I did as this morning I've bought a MacBook Pro 14" M2 Pro for £1,689 from the refurb store. At a cheaper price than I'd paid for the Air it was a bit of a no brainer. Arrives tomorrow!

I bought a base M1 MBA before the announcement but will be taking it back in favor of the 11/14 M3 Pro 14 since Best Buy is offering TotalTech members $100 off up front.

Ordered 16" M3 Max Space Black, 36gb ram, 2TB SSD -- delivers Nov 15th. Felt like this was the best match for my usage and some future proofing as I like to keep my laptops ~5 years.

Currently coming from a 2018 intel MBP this is going to be a huge upgrade. Been waiting for M3 to drop for at least a year. I'm super excited to get rid of the useless touch bar and the butterfly keyboard which had to be replaced twice while under warranty. Luckily it didn't fail again while waiting for the M3 to come out. Definitely rec AppleCare+ for these expensive laptops, more than got my money back with the last laptop.
