My order got bumped up to the first week of December, yay.
Ordered my MBP 14 inch M3 Max (64 GB, 2 TB). Supposed delivery date is second week of December.

Thought about getting 4 TB but that would have delayed shipping to past Christmas...

Will replace my M1 Max MBP (64 GB, 512 GB), still wondering if I'll sell it and just use my iPad Pro to tide me over for work etc.

Yes, even with the package out for delivery DHL still lists "Delivery date note available".

On my last laptop I couldn’t quite convince myself to spend the money and got the 2TB. This time I decided what the hell.
This is what I'm doing next time, because my house will probably be close to paid off by then, lol. And three 36" 8K Pro Display XDR with mLED tech!

This will be around 2030. Knowing the way Apple prices things and refuses to increase storage tiers, 4TB will probably cost $1500 by then, and I'll be able to buy a 4TB drive the size of a credit card from Amazon for $49.

I hate DHL…

“November, 15 2023 16:02 Local time, CINCINNATI HUB, OH - USA “

Why is it just sitting there? Meanwhile, I ordered an extension cable from Apple on Monday and I got it on Tuesday.

If the price of 4TB goes up by 2030 instead of dropping, that's ludicrous. Tech ought to become cheaper over years. You can make an external 4TB SSD drive that's faster than the current internal SSD with a $90 ZikeTech thunderbolt 4 enclosure and a 4TB Samsung 990 for $250.

Not to crash the M3 party but this is my brand new to me Apple Certified Refurbished M1 MacBook Pro 8/8 core 512 GB in Space Gray. Couldn’t pass up a stellar discount beyond the usual refurb price + 1yr warranty and AppleCare+.

Rather pedestrian compared to the other machines in here but this is far and away a step up from my 2011 iMac on High Sierra. I’m officially in the current era.

Photos in case anyone wonders what a certified refurb comes with.

Ordered on Nov 13, credit card was already charged on Nov 14 (BTO 14’’ M3 Max 16/40, 48 GB, 1 TB), but still processing and delivery expected Nov 29 - Dec 1.

Interestingly, my credit card has never been charged for my previous order (placed on Oct 31: standard 14’’ M3 Max 14/30, 36 GB, 1 TB) which was still processing until I canceled on Nov 13 and decided to go for the 16/40 M3 Max.

Are BTO orders charged earlier than standard configs? I would not expect a change in status until end of next week tbh…
Why did you swap?

Mine also says not available for the delivery estimate. I wonder if this is something Apple requested? It usually shows up as it leaves the origin country (China). Mine has been travelling for a while now but no date by DHL.

Mine seems to be seeing a bit of China before flying to the UK. It shipped on Tuesday morning, and the last update was Hong Kong last night, which I'm hoping is the last stop before coming to either the UK or Europe. I think it'll probably be delivered Monday now, although I'm hoping for tomorrow

If yours also shipped on Tuesday and was in Hong Kong yesterday, then our MBPs could very well be travel companions onboard AeroLogic flight 593 from Hong Kong to Leipzig (main DHL sorting hub in Europe) :D I have been tracking the flight for some time now, it also landed in New Delhi this morning for a brief stop.

(departed Hong Kong 7:56 local time on 16th of November, according to DHL tracking)

As someone also upgrading from a 2011 Mac, any of the M series MacBooks will be a night vs day difference. Enjoy!

Mine says it just left the Cincinnati Hub. I’m in Orlando and it still says expected delivery Monday Nov 20.

Is your expected delivery date from DHL or Apple? The nice thing is that once my package left Cincinnati yesterday morning, it was delivered that evening. You could potentially get it today/tomorrow.

That’s wild.

Right now for mine Apple has the date as Monday, but as of 8 am this morning DHL in NJ, like 20 minutes from where I live, has it they don’t have an estimated delivery date on their site, though. I’m assuming it will come tomorrow. 🤞but if it came today, I would be so excited lol

The expected date I have is from Apple, but I just got a text from DHL that says it will be delivered today by 8pm 🎉
