Ordered a MBP 14" 12/18 18GB 1TB SSD Space Black on Nov 10th, received yesterday Nov 16th. I am in Canada.
I currently have an MacBook Air M1 8GB 512GB SSD which I will still keep and use as a more portable device (MBP 14 M3 Pro is pretty heavy compared and couldn't see using it as a literal laptop on lap). I only tested so far exporting a home video (I am currently archiving lots of them - ongoing project LOL) which source is VHS SD interlaced. Using compressor from FCPX it took 40 minutes on MBA M1, and is now only 21 minutes on MBP M3 using exact settings I exported, so I am happy with this. I was also able to connect an old thunderbolt 2 dock with built-in firewire (which I use to transfer old tapes across from cameras), and also access old TB2 drives - and all works fine in M3 MBP using the TB3 to TB2 adapter (I mention this because some documentation online implies that TB4 is not compatible with TB2 anymore using that adapter, which is incorrect). I also have Apple TB2 to Firewire adapter in case something happens to my TB2 dock, or want something neater with less cables.

Apple gave me Nov 20th delivery date. I am currently typing this on my new 16-inch Space Black M3 Max 16 Core CPU/40 Core GPU w/ 128GB RAM, 2TB SSD MacBook Pro! :)

DHL sent a shipping notification that the laptop was shipping out from China on Monday, for reference.
Thanks for info! I have same but 64GB ram. Mine left China Wednesday and just cleared customs at Cincinatti so hoping for Monday delivery 🤞

Congrats! I hope the set up is going well. My 2016 knows it's days are numbered, it's been freezing up more frequently since I've been refreshing my order status like a madman. Maybe they add a 5 minute delay on every refresh?

Looks like DHL in Finland is better than DHL in the UK. Mine is sat in a warehouse about 15 miles away for the weekend :-( Apple is still saying delivery on Tuesday, but I'd be amazed if it isn't on Monday.

I think someone wrote that DHL does customs clearance only when the packages arrive in the UK. Maybe the reason for the delay?

My tracking history is full of ”clearance in progress” entries that I omitted from above. Basically the package cleared customs by the time it arrived in Germany.

Mine arrived in the UK last night and the customs status updated an hour before it hit UK soil then cleared about 25 minutes after the plane landed at East Midlands Airport.
Now just the long wait till it gets delivered, hopefully on Monday

Apple's order status is showing this as being delayed and I'm curious if I'm meant to contact DHL or if this is normal/expected? I went from hoping it would be delivered early to wondering if it will be delayed now. Reading online I see some people talking about days or weeks delay from DHL when it has a clearance event which isn't awesome.

Originally ordered M3 Pro on Nov 9th with an original estimated delivery from Apple of Nov 28th-30th. Once it shipped on Nov 15th, the estimated delivery from Apple was Nov 22nd. Delivery to Atlanta GA area.

Mine looks very similar with all the clearance status event updates. Apple estimates 22nd still.

FYI, I got a clearance processing complete an hour after getting the clearance event so not necessarily delayed. In fact it left Cincinnati and has reached the local facility shortly after. If they delivered on Saturday's I'm sure it'd be out for delivery by now. But just gotta wait till Monday now I think

My black 14” M3 Max 16/40 64GB 2TB SSD is still processing, no change, ordered on November 6. I don’t get how you guys are all getting your later orders before me. I would’ve thought I’d see at least “preparing to ship” by now.

If you want your computer within a month, don’t order what I did! Still showing Dec 7-14. Something I ordered is constrained, I think maybe the 2TB SSD? Seems like everyone here is getting 1TB or 4TB.

At this point I could probably reorder with 4TB and get it faster, but with more things moving to the cloud I just don’t think I’ll end up needing that much space. I would get 8TB if I could justify Apple’s crazy pricing and keep my LR catalog local, but I’m already spending more than I wanted to on a computer and already have a good, tiny external 4TB SSD for that, which only cost $350.

I would check some Apple stores around you. I believe they are stocking that exact config. You have to still build it. But then you will see available for pickup.

Really??! What were the status updates from DHL before it was “out for delivery”? Did it say it left Cincinnati or suddenly it was out for delivery?
It had arrived at the local facility yesterday, said it left there, then arrived again this morning lol. Then it said it was out for delivery an hour ago. I read that dhl doesn't but they can have another courier like USPS deliver it that do deliver on Sundays so that's my guess.

Edit: it arrived!

Thanks, I never think about going to the stores since I live between four stores about 100 miles apart. I just checked, and unfortunately there are none nearby me. The closest one is about a 5.5 hour drive available tomorrow. Unfortunately have to work this week and also finish preparing to have family over for Thanksgiving.

If it was one of the four 100 mile stores I would definitely consider it! Well, I've waited this long, just need more patience. I've just wanted to get off Intel for so long and told myself I would wait until the third generation on 3nm since my Macs were 2019 models. Glad I waited since the M3 Max seems pretty beefy. But I already sold my old MBP and want to get this iMac sold. Sucks being entirely tethered to a desktop when working.

I guess I should've sold this first but I figured the value was crap since Apple's trade-in for this was $400 and for my MBP was about double at $800. But I sold the MBP on Swappa for $1000 but then I discovered this thing is still selling online in the $1600-2000 range. For $400 I was just gonna keep it and set it up for my kids to use as their first real computer (non-iPad) but now I'm going to sell it to help pay for this M3 Max and wait another couple years since they are still young and get them a refurbished M3 iMac around this time next year.

Ordered Nov 7th and my card was just charged.
SB Max Binned 36GB 2TB

Original delivery estimate: Nov 29 - Dec 6
New estimate: Nov 30 - Dec 4

Never seen the estimate get pushed back like that they are usually early.
Delivered today the 20th by DHL in Denver was picked up by DHL on the 14th so about 6 days transit time.
