UPS has updated their delivery estimate and it should be delivered today instead of tomorrow - it's not yet out for delivery but that's normal. This is for a 14" / M3 Max 16/40 / 64GB / 4TB, ordered on Nov 6th. Apple app still shows status as being delivered between Nov 22-27 so I'm really glad I've been tracking using UPS MyChoice.

If yours also shipped on Tuesday and was in Hong Kong yesterday, then our MBPs could very well be travel companions onboard AeroLogic flight 593 from Hong Kong to Leipzig (main DHL sorting hub in Europe) :D I have been tracking the flight for some time now, it also landed in New Delhi this morning for a brief stop.

https://www.flightradar24.com/BOX593/32da24f0

(departed Hong Kong 7:56 local time on 16th of November, according to DHL tracking)
That all lines up with mine, so it looks like they touched down in the last hour or so. Apple's tracking has Tuesday down as a delivery date at the moment, although I've found them to be quite pessimistic in the past.

There are two flights to the UK tonight (D0513 and 3S192) so I'm hoping mine makes one of those. That could mean an outside chance of it coming tomorrow based on my previous experience. The logistics network is unbelievably efficient.

This ties in with mine as well. It left Hong Kong this morning so hopefully on the same plane. Currently my delivery date is 21st so fingers crossed it's earlier.

Meanwhile my 14" / M3 Max / 16/40 / 64GB / 2TB, ordered on Nov 6th, is still processing showing December 7-14.

I really need to stop checking this forum and my order status every couple hours, lol. I'm really excited, though. Macs are my favorite Apple devices and I don't order a new one very often!

That's weird, I ordered this but 16" on the 5th and mines shipped via DHL a few days ago. Currently on way to states I think with delivery date of 22nd according to Apple. No DHL estimate. Coming from 2019 MBP i9

Hopefully yours gets shipped soon

16" / M3 Max / 16/40 / 64GB / 2TB, ordered on Nov 8th, shipped Nov 15th via DHL.

Can anyone in US who already received his/her MacBook Pro share its DHL tracking history (or tracking number if you don't mind)? So we can get a better idea how long does it take in every step. Thanks

Mine is also arriving 21st according to Apple, still no estimated delivery date from DHL.
I had a scan in Leipzig at 20:22, so I think that means it is likely to be on the later flight. Although I'm never sure how accurate the scan times are.

Mine arrived early. Apple said Nov. 20 (my order was Oct 31) but it came at 2pm today via DHL. I'm in Orlando FL.

The timestamps are pretty accurate, but they don't always show up in real time. So you might see the scan appear later than when it actually happened. The actual timestamps are usually pretty spot on. For example, the planes usually take off 5-15 minutes after the departure scan (meaning they probably do start at the time of the scan). But the actual scan might appear much later in the DHL tracking history.

Mine has clearance processing completed at 21.28 at Leipzig. Only one flight coming to Finland, tomorrow morning at 4 am. Keeping fingers crossed mine makes that flight :)

Ah mines not had any further updates, so I'm hoping it in the air, but I'm not getting my hopes up. The flights to Nottingham (UK Hub) seem pretty frequent though

Thanks, I'm coming from the same MBP, which I sold on Swappa early last week, and then ordered this.

I would think that I ordered the most popular model, but I don't think I've seen anyone who has ordered the exact same spec on the forums. I've seen people ordering more or less memory, more or less storage, or the same but with fewer cores or a larger size like yours that ordered around the same time as me and have had theirs ship. IDK what the deal is with my specific combination of components, but apparently it's world shattering because Apple can't figure it out.

Mine arrived last night night in via DHL to East Midlands (I'm assuming Nottingham) and then sent onto Heathrow. Got all excited thinking I may get it today.

Just got an update saying the status is Shipment On Hold at Heathrow. Bah! Any ideas what that may mean?

Why did you swap?

More RAM. I noticed that I am already running out of physical memory on my 2019 16’’ Intel with 32 GB with some workflows (although rarely), therefore 36 GB did not make that much sense as I am buying this machine for 5+ years. The last Mac I had for 5+ years was the upper-tier Retina MBP 13’’ Late 2013 (which was one of the best Macs I ever had).

The 16/40 M3 Max is a nice add-on. Of course you can always go for more, but that would be above my budget…

And: My order is now preparing to ship! :) High hopes for earlier delivery than expected (Nov 29 - Dec 1) as also UPS tracking by reference number (using order number) shows up with “Shipment Ready for UPS”. Btw shipping to EU (Austria).

Maybe give DHL a call and ask them about it? It could be anything really.

From the web:

Some common reasons that a DHL shipment might be placed on hold include:
  • Delay at customs for clearance
  • Missing or incorrect paperwork
  • Port congestion
  • Natural disasters/severe weather
  • Temporary closure of a DHL facility

Ordered a silver 14" M3 Max 16/40 64GB RAM 1TB SSD on Nov. 12 and it should be here today (out for delivery now). The estimate when I ordered was Nov. 30 - Dec. 4, so I'm pretty happy it's arriving almost 2 weeks early.

Exactly the same for me, I spoke to DHL earlier and they seem to be using Heathrow as the "South" sorting/customs depot, so I think they're still in the customs process due to Brexit rules meaning it isn't completed en route. I'm going to keep an eye on it as the if it's in Reading tomorrow, I might drive over and get it.

Thanks for the update. Mine will need to head to Southampton so I have resigned myself to getting it either Monday or Tuesday now. Just as well as the wife has a big list of stuff for this weekend to do without a new toy getting in the way 😄

Ironically, I'm heading to Southampton tomorrow afternoon. Given they've not shifted from the hold yet, I don't see them moving today... I might be wrong though.

Only two days from China to US? It's awesome! Mine is still in China, seems DHL is the slowest
