I just bought my first Apple Macbook Pro 13 inch.
I have to say I love it. They had the Snow Leopard dropped in the box so I did the update myself. Also got the free 8G Ipod Touch. The rebate for the touch is so easy, just go online input a few numbers and you are done. I have to say switching over to the Apple side was one of the best things I could have done.

Ack, looks like they chose the wrong package to deliver a day early. iPod here, laptop arriving tomorrow
Heh, that's rough. I was almost in the same situation, I got my iPod around 10am and later in the day around 4pm the same FedEx guy pulled up and brought my MBP box. The items were scanned in a minute apart so he didn't realize he had another package for me the first time he stopped.
Hopefully something similar occurred and yours will pop in later today, if not, hang in there! Heh, that's rough. Despite being shipped on different days, they were both scheduled for tomorrow. The iPod arrived today, though. The only consolation is that I'll (fingers crossed) get it before work, meaning I can bring it with me to set it up Am based in the UK and my delivery was originally scheduled for the 15th September after placing the order on the 30th August. But things seem to have speeded up and its now scheduled for tomorrow 15 Inch Macbook pro 3.06 with 7200 HDD cant wait. Its gonna kick ass over my Dell 610 am to embrassed to tell you the score on geekbench for the dell!!!!!!!!

Here's something interesting: It came pre-installed with Snow Leopard, which I wasn't expecting. But hey no problem, that's one less thing for me to do.
And it has a Toshiba 160GB hard drive instead of a Hitachi.
What about everyone else? Did yours come with Snow Leopard already installed and/or a different brand hard drive?

Mines came with the Hitachi and Snow Leopard was not pre-installed. But that might be due to me purchasing it on the actual day of SL release.

Was on the phone with my school's store, got a fully loaded 17" with 256 SSD and 3 GHz processor, and anti glare, iPod classic, and new printer. For my gf, i got her a 15" antiglare, with standard specs, and ipod classic. She's excited. It's her first Mac (i converted her)
I'm super excited. Feels like my first time.
Hopefully SL will be installed.

I love the 13", slip it in to my Incase sleeve and it then slides right in to my back pack's front slot. Love the portability.

If so, yea, you'll probably see it today.I ordered my new 15" MacBook Pro 2.8Ghz, 500GB 7200rpm, on the 28th August at about 1AM GMT (OS X 10.6 release date) and it arrived yesterday (Tuesday) via UPS, earlier than the estimated delivery date of this Friday. Loving it so far, build quality is perfect, and came pre-installed with 10.6.

My Macbook pro 3.06 15 inch came today, very impressed so far. Geekbench score of 4228 ! Do I risk putting an X25-M 160 GB in it ??

After receiving a free PowerBook G4 from the school I am student teaching at, I decided to make the purchase today of the base model MBP13. I upgraded the ram and HDD, also added AppleCare and the Incase neoprene sleeve. Delivery dates are 9/11 - 9/17. Now I can only wait.
