Does anyone remember last time the iMacs were updated? It was hours past Tuesday. I remember cause here it was updated a few hours into the night.

Not sure I follow. Are you saying that the previous update was in the early am hours of that Tuesday?

When a product update happens, usually the Apple online store is down from around 3 to 6 a.m. PST.

I guess we have a few hours before its 3am in Cali, so I'll keep my fingers crossed. Seems like this forum lost a little steam as the day went on, but I'm trying to stay optimistic that well have a new imac by morn.

well I'm here ^_^ it's quarter to 6pm here. Handy time. However following Apple events live requires a 3-4am wake up.

Wake up time? My friend samuel Adams and I have no intention of going to bed, we are on this one all morning long.

more fodder for the rumor mill

Grrr... I've been trying for awhile and I'm ashamed to admit in my first post on this site that I've never done a screenshot and am not able to post what I found. However, I've been following this thread and haven't seen anyone post the following:
I googled "Best Buy," then entered "imac 27" in the search box. It took me to the BB outlet store; whereupon the 27", ("available online only") is SOLD OUT, and the 21" is "not available for shipping."

I'm waiting for the 27". This is after waiting months for the iphone, only to discover that the new area I moved to does not have good reception with AT&T. After mulling that over and weighing my options, I have a Droid X "pre-ordered" for Thursday. It's hard, I've had my 3G for almost two years and have loved it. Don't want to hijack the thread tho.

Have been waiting soooooo long! But it doesn't look good :( The iMac all show "shipping within 24h" on Apple Store and we haven't heard any accurate reports of "out of stock" from the third party suppliers.... so although I would be soooo happy to see an update today, I am skeptical :(

I'm really disappointed that the MacBook Pros have new generation processors but most of the iMacs don't!

COME ON APPLE! Upgrade the iMacs!!!! Enough with the wait!

My sentiments exactly... I know that its not going to happen (sorry but neither Amazon nor BestBuy have any more information on refreshes than we do), but I'm still holding out a little bit of hope that somehow it will happen. :apple: is just not being nice!

The Apple Store, Amazon and Best Buy all exist to sell products. The Apple store still has stock and they want people to buy that, therefore they won't change anything on the website.

Amazon and Best Buy won't give out any information because they want to sell their products. Who will buy an iMac when a new one is around the corner? The idea is to give a potential customer a solution they can have at that moment.
