All I ask for is 60 fps animations on ALL devices, by animations I mean all system animations(mainly the keyboard rotation animation). This is something I have always despised ever since the iOS 7 transition.
Not going to happen unless you enable reduce transparency in settings. These gaussian blurs in iOS 7+ bog the ever living crap out of everything.

New tidbits about iOS 10. Apparently it will get a design refresh.

Edit: Only minor changes though, just listened to podcast.

If there is only minor changes to the UI and not Major ones for iOS's 10th anniversary, I have no more respect for Apple's design department. This is ridiculous that we were, and still are forced to use the current UI. Apple really should've gave us an option to use the new one or old one. The current one doesn't fit in with the character of the devices anymore. When I'm holding a premium glass and aluminum device, I want a UI to fit it (iOS 6). When I'm using a colorful plastic or colorful anodized aluminum device, I want a UI that fits with it (iOS 7).

When you buy a new car, you always get an interior to match the exterior color of the car. It really shouldn't be different for operating systems on devices if you think about it.

Boy, I sure do rant about design a lot don't I? I can't help it, design is something I love, and bad design (iOS 7, OS X Yosemite) gets under my skin terribly.

I am maybe in the minority but don't see iMessage P2P system useful in everyday life. Unless they really change it up with being able to do some sort of online bill pay (utilities, credit card payments, etc)with it then I don't see it making a big dent how I go about my everyday life.

Am I missing something?

I'm trying to set the bar really how here. Just make it so I don't get frustrated by a bug or broken feature several times a day.

All I want from iOS 10 on iPhone is better alerts - the itunes password one is the absolute worst. I tap to buy an app after my phone restarted at some point, I get the dialog, have to cancel, leave the app store, open 1password, use touch id, copy my iTunes password, go back to the App Store, tap buy, paste password, hit enter. Simple solution - allow app extensions in system dialogs (And any alert dialog in general.)

Also demote phone calls to normal notifications. It is so annoying doing something on my iPad to randomly get a call that takes up the entire screen. This doesn't even make sense on the iPhone. Let it ring, and stay visible in the notification area, just like every other notification.

A pretty comprehensive wishlist for iOS 10 here: http://www.theapplestream.com/ios-10-wishlist/

Definitely want Touch ID to be optional setting for all apps, Dark Mode and Mail rules.

Also think it's a good point made about Picture in Picture - Apple should force it for all video to circumvent YouTube failing to implement it (and bring it to iPhone 6/Plus).

Calculator and weather app from iPhone on iPad. Consistency please. They are missing when moving from device to device.

I want multilingual siri. For example: If I say play song X (title in English) siri does not unterstand it, because I use another language. Why is it not possible to use two languages?

If you ask me the current iPad pro is moronic. Put a low power intel in one of them and throw OSX in it. A real iPad pro. Look at the surface pro.

And then it can work as well as the Surface Pro does as a tablet (which isn't great). You don't want an iPad. Don't ruin my iPad because you want a laptop.

Weird. I just say "play Hikarunara", first word English. It couldn't get it on the phone, but did get it on the watch. Didn't show the text right, but played the song.

I really want ios10 to focus on the iPad. I feel like I have a lot of features on my phone already. I really want it to add features to the iPad to take care of all the extra screen space it has and the ability to do more. I want photos to be able to do more as well. There needs to be at least basic editing options on the phone, and even more on the iPad.

Apple's goal on marketing is for the iPad Pro to be like an hybrid laptop, hence the size, power and physical keyboard update. Even in the 9.7 version presentation they stated they wanted PC users to move to it.
Sorry that they and a bunch of other costumers disagree with "YOUR" iPad

That's right. Preach about how dumb that sounds

No, Apple is not marketing this as a hybrid laptop. They're marketing it as being able to replace the laptop, yes, but in no way is this marketed as a hybrid laptop.

Multitasking on the ipad can use some improvements- As apple increases the storage size to 256 GB , users are going to have more apps. It takes a long time to scroll through the apps to find the one you are looking for . A search dialog box in the multitasking window will help. Also with apple pencil it makes sense to allow cut , drag and drop between two apps which are side by side.

For the search part, you can basically do the same thing by swiping down on any home screen (or going to the Siri proactive screen) and doing a quick search for the app you are looking for.
