But shows the same for both Apple Maps and Google for me.

I don’t have new Maps in the UK yet.
But shows the same for both Apple Maps and Google for me.

Yep...doesn’t end at the POI. I’ve had this happen before when new maps were coming to NYC. I submitted an error report through the Maps app just in case though.
And looked again...the POI is correct, but the “entrance” listed is in the wrong location on the other side of the city. Submitted a correction to the entrance and hopefully it is fixed soon.

interesting, so my iPad running iOS 14 GM has switched back to the old maps and I’m seeing the exact same problem. But my iPhone is running new maps still and arrival appears perfectly.
Must still be testing, will check out some other locations.

Mines the opposite. My iPad Air 2 on gm 14 shows it correct but my iPhone 11 Pro Max running the same doesn’t.
Seems like so many items in iOS/iPadOS suffer from DID (Dissociative identity disorder).
Weather, Mail, Maps, Messages .... etc.
Hopefully they (Apple) figure it out before too long.

Just tried this and directions are now working all the way to the entrance on my iPhone.
We are just a few hours away from Apple publicly releasing iOS 14, iPadOS 14 and watchOS 7 and Apple has now updated their Apple Maps page. The EV routing feature is listed as "Coming Soon". This could mean that iOS 14.0 won't support this feature at launch, perhaps requiring an update like iOS 14.1 (just like the Share ETA feature was added in iOS 13.1). It could also mean that it will be supported in iOS 14.0 but that there are no electric cars with support for the feature available on the market yet.

Yep its no longer working for me either now. I was on the new Apple Maps (for the U.K.) pretty much from launch, but at some point today my iPhone has reverted to the old maps. So from what I can tell the direction is correct in the new maps but in the old version it isn’t?

iOS 14 just popped up for me. Downloading now! (About 2 hours remaining.
)Just found something interesting. The iOS and iPadOS Feature Availability page has been updated and it shows that the Refine Location feature is available in many more cities than Look Around is currently. Perhaps this hints at a larger Look Around rollout in the near future as Refine Location presumably uses imagery from the Apple Maps cars and compares it with images that the user captures with the camera to get a more accurate location.
Okay, I'm on iOS 14.
Right away, I can see Apple Maps (the app itself on the phone) is much more responsive, and it's opening in my preferred 3D perspective. So I'm hoping that the persistent iOS 13 glitches will all be gone now. Updating to iOS 14 did not give me the new maps for the UK. lol
Looking forward to trying out Apple Maps on CarPlay tomorrow morning when I drive into work.

The ability to rate and add photos to venues disappeared with Beta 7, didn't return in Beta 8 or GM.
New maps not tied to the version of iOS really. Some folk did get them for a while recently in the UK, i was one of them, but then lost them again. Hopefully they will be released at some point soon as they are loads better.
