Funny you mention that...I got a couple of notifications for corrections I made as well.
I was surprised to see some come in the day of. That was impressive!

Also, turns out I DO have an answer for you. Came across the post on Reddit. It DOES sound like Gibraltar and Andorra are included. Also saw a few comments saying the Canary Islands are as well.

At least now we know we don't have to wait until WWDC to hear about new releases!

*** much longer do we have to wait until Australia gets updated? The current state of maps in Australia is just pathetic and is in desperate need of a new update.

Coming up to 18 months and yet Canada took around 12.

I haven’t used maps in a while and I noticed some odd behavior after updating. Even if I select a specific route, if I happen to make a wrong turn along the way instead of taking me back on my preferred route choice, maps will now redirect me using what it thinks is the fastest route which in this case happened to take me through a jammed urban street full of construction which I was specifically trying to avoid. Happened twice already

Yeah, sadly, the Maps behaves this way for me for many months consistently.

Where is this happening?

Ran into similar yesterday. Used AM to go to an address in south central Los Angeles. My off ramp was closed due to an accident - by the way using Siri to update conditions is pretty cool - and the recalculated route took me through a residential area. Taking the next exit and getting back on the freeway would have been far simpler.

Other than that it worked well

I can’t believe I never noticed before (probably means it has been a feature for 10 years…)

Just saw this on Reddit. If you Haptic Touch/long press on any POI, it brings up a quick access menu right in Maps.

EDIT: Okay…this has been a thing since Haptic Touch came out with the iPhone 6S and 3D Touch?? Hah

Similar to the menu if you long press in your recent map searches at the screen bottom.

So I'm in Canada (Edmonton) and Maps isn't letting me report on the app. Any other Canadians successful in the reporting?

EDIT: Guess not.

It’s not just 14.5 specific, it is country specific. The beta only worked in the US, so guessing it will remain that way until they update at a later date.

Looking forward to hopefully seeing notifications on Maps this week. Post up pics if you get them.

The Maps update was the main feature I was waiting for in 14.5. Of course now it is limited only to the US. Tiring.

The reporting feature? Not sure why anyone would have thought that was coming to any other country other than the US to start. The beta has been out for months as US only.

It's an easy add though to other countries. Let them do a large scale test run for a few months. I'm sure it will spread to other countries with new maps.

On a positive note, I've received 4 notifications from Maps in the past week and one email exchange for corrections I've submitted.

I don't install betas and must have missed the information it was US only. Tried to keep up to date, but must have missed it simply.

Also noticed today that the possibility to rate restaurants and other POI:s has vanished in Sweden, after being able to do so fore quite some time. Am guessing it will return.

I’m also seeing the same thing in regards to submissions of photos and ratings (also in Sweden).

Wow all of California. That’s cool. Hopefully we’ll get some more large roll outs like that
And hopefully some large rollouts of Look Around, as well. With the exception of Canada's massive release, Look Around's pace has been almost glacial (in my opinion)! Of course, I know there's a LOT of data to work through in regards to Look Around, but still.

Actually, I’m not surprised you missed it…neither Apple or macRumors has been very clear that this is a US only feature right now.

But it doesn’t seem to be limited to the same regulatory requirements other Maps features must comply with, so I’m guessing it will be a worldwide feature in all new Maps areas once it is tested more in the US.

Will be doing a nice 1,600 mile round trip to Arkansas at the end of next week and marking every incident I see. Hoping to see something on the map by then!

If anyone is thinking about it, if you mark an incident, come in here and post the location (as long as its not your driveway!) and we can see if its working!
