THE iPhone 8/8+ Case Thread

I do not have photos to put up but I also got the Synthesis today. Great looking case with an excellent fit, but I am finding it far more slippery than I was hoping. I also found the buttons to be ever so slightly more resistant than I would like, but not horrible by any means. I have a feeling I will end up returning it.

My very first case for my 8 Plus was the Evutec Selenium and right now it’s my favorite. Currently back to using it for the time being.

That’s the one thing the case is lacking. There’s clearance, but not Speck Presidio or Silk Tough Case clearance.

Like you said, slimmer case and only so much you can do there.

It’s a great case. Just waiting on delivery of the grey one as well. Prefer that colour to my current black one.

Picked up the dualpro in black and blue. Ended up mixing them up with the black inner piece and blue exterior piece and like the way they look. It feels real nice but just a bit too slick. I also picked up the presidio grip in the midnight blue and so far it feels nice, a little worried how well it will last with recent post on them and with past models.

has anybody bought any redbubble cases for the iphone 8 or 8plus? I was planning to but I dont know anybody who has one

if all else fails Im gonna get a red silicone apple case as im a fan of it being felted inside to not scratch the phone

That midnight blue Presidio is sweet. I too wonder about durability as well.

Nice. Karapax cases are well made. The Shield+ I have is very nice, but it isn’t that grippy.

If I dropped the phone in that case, I think it would protect the phone.

ok so after handling the case it holds super small compared to the plus.

yes the screen will be smaller due to the aspect ratio but I prefer better handling over a slightly smaller screen size

Rhinoshield Mod for 7/8 Plus. Clear backplate and fisheye lens installed in a couple shots, bumper only, and then just a front view.

I like it, but as with most clear cases, lots of scratches after 2 days on the backplate. I’ll only use it when I want to use the extra lenses.

EDIT: In bumper mode the case works with the Apple lightning dock. The crashguard bumper was not really compatible with the lightning dock. So this is an added bonus.

I think the Tech21 Impact Clear looks pretty great on the 8+ in in gold.

I had one of those Speck grip cases on my iPhone 6 - it was the worst case I had ever bought!

The rubber grips, start wearing away and peeling off after just a few weeks due to the constant in an out of the pockets scenario (the grips, grip the sides of the pocket when you put the phone in, and then grip the pocket, when you pull it out again), and the whole case ends up looking a mess.

Terrible case.

I've got the Karapax on my 8 Plus, really like it, surprised me actually at how well it feels and looks.

From my experience, Speck is highly overrated. YMMV.
