This is the current case that I'm using on my iPhone 8 and I'm loving it! Very sleek looking and comes with a very effective tempered glass screen protector!

Picked up the dualpro in black and blue. Ended up mixing them up with the black inner piece and blue exterior piece and like the way they look. It feels real nice but just a bit too slick. I also picked up the presidio grip in the midnight blue and so far it feels nice, a little worried how well it will last with recent post on them and with past models.

I have the lilac presidio but that blue is lovely. Ordering that!

Just ordered one of these. Seems to have good reviews...

[doublepost=1509558004][/doublepost]Anyone have good cheap bumper case recommendations?
Silk Base Grip is real nice. Good choice.

I have the new anger silk case arriving today. It looks very promising and on paper, looks like everything I could want.
  • full coverage
  • limited to no branding
  • plain black
  • small camera opening

Heres hoping
AE14,

Have you heard the Patchworks ITG Level case? Was looking at it. Looks like low budget Rhinoshield or Symmetry.

I did try it for my 7 Plus...the back was scratch prone.

Very disappointed in the Anker Silk. Very low budget silicone, major lint issue in 5 minutes. Also, the bottom lip is tech 21 reminiscent.

Darn. What a bummer. Looked promising. Thanks buddy for the reviews.

I had one of those Speck grip cases on my iPhone 6 - it was the worst case I had ever bought!

The rubber grips, start wearing away and peeling off after just a few weeks due to the constant in an out of the pockets scenario (the grips, grip the sides of the pocket when you put the phone in, and then grip the pocket, when you pull it out again), and the whole case ends up looking a mess.

Terrible case.

That’s kind of what I worry about. It feels like a nice case but I worry about durability when it comes to the rubber grips considering they are probably held on by some glue and rubber like that I imagine tends to peel.

Anyone can recommend a case with a translucent back that is grippy and not slippery?

I don’t like pure clear cases because they’re dust and scratch prone, but I still want to see the Apple logo on the back, so that’s why I’m looking for a translucent & matte finish case...

Has anyone tried the Speck Presidio Ultra?

This seems like a good case. The only knock I have heard on the non-grip Presidio is that it is slippery. With that extra front section it should provide plenty of grip and protection, yet it seems much more refined than an Otterbox.

I'm going to wait until they are at Best Buy and go check it out.

Are you familiar with the Evutec Selenium? That’s what I’m currently using and I think it’s fantastic. It has grooves around the perimeter of the case to enhance grip there and the back is nicely textured. Soft, but not slippery and highly resistant to prints and scratches. I have the Smoke Silver version.

I hope the link I post works. As an FYI - they do not yet make (not sure if they will - Evutec seems impossible to get a hold of) an iPhone 8/Plus specific version but I have the 7 Plus version on my 8 Plus and it’s perfectly fine.

Thanks for the recommendation! Some reviews on Amazon say the case is quite slippery, but how was your experience?

Sorry, I don't own this case, just saw it mentioned before. I'm using the Spigen Ultra Hybrid.

OtterBox and Disney just released a partnership. As a huge Disney fan I am thrilled. Should be available at the parks soon. It is the symmetry model only right now but looks great

Oh man. The markup on that will be 300%

Two things. One did the glass screen protector thread for 8/8 plus just die I used see it at top. Haven’t been here in while, and two how’s life proof cases. I wasted so much on glass 2 40$ ones from att and Verizon, and now 20$ one from corporate store. Sadly my 8plus had be replaced twice. The screen protectors I did use that did work for some reason now, halo around my current 8plus like crazy. I can’t think any reason why so figured just get life proof or something.
