No further impressions/reviews/pros and cons from people owning it?
I've posted the pros and cons I noticed. I think the overheating issue is overblown after spending the day shooting in the Woods, me with my G3, my friend with his G2.
His phone accidently unlocked in his pocket on the drive back with the camera open and his G2 got very hot and shut the brightness down to 70% with the message "unable to increase brightness until temperature decreases".
Overall I love the phone, not a worthy upgrade over the G2 though. My photos were better, but not by a huge margin.
Same can be said about most phones this year. If you have the previous years model nothing really jumps out as a must get.I have heard the same conclusion from quite a few people. It make me rethink getting the G3. But then all bets are off once i see it at AT&T.......just sayin......

You'll definitely love the design. When I saw it I was like such a beautiful design and the kind of build quality I like.
On the other hand, G2 offers amazing battery life and I'd say just as good performance (or better).
Although that microSD card slot is really useful.

The text looks like this when you tab the address bar in chrome and the page darkens. Other than that i havent seen any oversharpening.
Edit: been browsing for nearly an hour now on max brightness but the screen has only gotten a little warm. No warmer than when i had other phones on charge.
Thanks Sensamic......So today I found a G3 that was turned on and tried it for 10 minutes.
Impressions:
- No oversharpening at all. Screen looks just like any 1080P one.
- Screen much brighter than my old SGS3 but not as the G2. At 100% it felt like the G2 at 85-90% maybe. Brightness at less than 100% not enough for my liking.
- Phone started to get warm in those 10 minutes, but very little. Was just moving around menus (no Wi-Fi was available).
- New UI is very nice.
- Not as fluid as G2. Animations were just slightly slower, but I didn't saw any lag at all.
Thanks Sensamic......
The 2 issues i see with the G3 all surround the screen and you confirmed them.
1) Screen not as bright as others
2) Screen gets hot fast but not too hot.
I am going to pay a visit to the local AT&t store and get my hands on a demo unit. See what happens.
Looking forward to some user feedback on this.
I just put in my order for the G3. I did my best to just stay with one phone but I should probably just accept who I am and that I will never be faithful to just one phone.
