My only real complaint with my Moto X is the screen. If they stay with AMOLED in the X+1, I hope they use one that is as bright as the one in the Galaxy S5, and I hope they also offer screen mode options like the Galaxy S5. If they don't do that, then I'll probably pass. I've already put my SIM card back in my iPhone 5S and have stopped using the Moto X. I just can't stand the dim screen and the over saturated colors. Everything has a red tint. I'd prefer they put an LCD panel in it, but I doubt that will happen.

I think the screen is great but to each it own I guess.

I definitely can notice the over saturation with AMOLED screens. But to me, the lower power consumption is worth it. Battery life is more important to me.

Just picked up a Moto X today. Coming from a Nexus 5 which I loved but felt was a touch too big for my liking. I love the Moto X. Perfect ergonomically. I've been very anti-Amoled in the past but this screen looks great to my eyes. I didn't want to wait for the X+1 because I think it's going to be bigger than the X, and I don't want that.

I'll be disappointed if they do a 5"+ screen with the x+1. The 4.7 was perfect in the x imo. Small enough to use one handed but still plenty big for Web browsing and stuff. I broke mine and got an s5. Kind of wishing I just got another x because it was awesome.

5" in a similar frame size as the moto x current would be nice. But 5.2 as rumored seems quite the jump up for what made the moto x attractive to many users.

If they can fit a 5.2" phone in a 5" frame, I wouldn't have a problem with that. It would also be nice if we had a choice of screen between 4.7" and 5.2".

Exactly. The iPhone is a bit too small imo and the s5 I have right now is a bit too big. The 4.5-4.7 range is the sweet spot. Then have the 5.5" phones for people that like that.

Not sure what's going on here, but according to Evleaks, this is the Moto X+1. But then, he also posted that the picture below is the new Verizon Victara.

Maybe the X+1 was never a true successor to the Moto X? Maybe we're still in store for a "Moto X2"?

Confused. Should be interesting.

Whatever this is, it's missing a flash on the back, and front camera. Bizarre...

I dunno, somewhere in West Texas
From Pocketnow, leak of the X+1 boot screen.

Here's the video just in case you don't want to go through the article.

Video removed, probably a fake.

Just when I thought the bezels couldn't get any worse, that would be a downgrade from the X.

It's rare, but Evleaks has been wrong or confused before. Not sure what's going on here.

That looks more like a low end phone than a next generation Moto X.

I'm hoping Motorola has a true "X2" successor to the Moto X that is yet unveiled.

The navigation buttons still have the black pre-KitKat background, could this be a preproduction render for a model that never became reality? Even a proto version of the X or something?

Ya, who knows. Looks more like a Moto E than anything (potential dual speakers).

I don't think that's the phone at all. Looks like a stretched out version of the Moto E. Maybe Verizon version of the Moto E.

Yeah. I think this is one of those rare times where Evleaks got confused and was wrong.

Unless the Moto X+1 was never what we were lead to believe it was...

I definitely do no believe that to be the Moto X+1. No front facing camera, no flash, huge bottom bezel. Everything on it is more in line with a budget phone.

Specs for the X+1 leak.

I'd love those specs if they turn out to be true, specially that battery!!:eek: It's all I ask for: all day long battery life (well, that and a decent camera).

Only thing I don't like is AMOLED display. I'm more of an IPS guy.

This would be even better than a Nexus 6 in theory IMO, because of the battery and camera. We know it will receive updates very soon after the Nexuses.

Very excited about this myself.

Wonder what that unlock price point will be...
