Had 2 left at the store and best buy was out.
Odd that they've altered the packaging.
Is that standard procedure in the US?

Nice shots ChazAfter having fears on the camera I will say isn't too bad to be honest.
Certainly is passable.
I was a little ticked at first when AT&T branded the One with their logo after seeing Sprint and T-Mobile never including their's. But after I saw the Verizon version, I dont feel as bad. Verizon simply doesnt know what humble means. At least AT&T kept their logo matching into the silver.
Verizon's carrier logo looks hideous. They went all in with name and 4G attached. CDMA versions always have the WORST resell value. Expect the Verizon's One to to be sold for Craigslist by next year for under $200 while the GSM-versions can fetch nearly double. The logo made it look far worse for resell.

Really wasn't thrilled with the ios coming out, so i broke down and got an htc one from Verizon this week. I am amazed that i actually like it, alot! The phone has that premium iphone like feel. The camera i would say is meh. But i am not too picky when it comes to cell phone cameras. I used htc manager to transfer practically everything over to my new phone. My music was transferred by double twist. And i am testing both sine and swiftkey for keyboards. Loving the bigger screen. And unlike other ppl. I actually llike sense including blinkfeed. I hate touchwiz so i went with htc instead of samsung. I found all my apps except running with friends which seems to be an ios exclusive. Overall this has been a pleasant surprise for me. I may regret changing one day. But for now i am very satisfied with everything. I do miss some of the push services, a volume mute switch, and notification badges. But i am learning to adjust back to android (I have used android before) Overall i have to say android has come a long way. They still have catching up to do. But they are light years from where they were. I will keep playing with it, and if anyone has any quuestions i will try and answer them.
Edit:
Sorry for the grammar errors. I am still getting used to typing on this new keyboard.
Definitely. But I still think even the S III takes better daylight photos. After having fears on the camera I will say isn't too bad to be honest.

4.3 update with Sense 5 has leaked.
Oh wow great for the U.S yet?
If it all goes to plan it means the one gets 4.3 update before the S4
Oh the irony.
Thanks for your post.
The only thing holding the HTC One back that I own is me. Reading all the things folks are doing with it makes me feel a bit overwhelmed in comparison to tell the truth. It would be nice to take full advantage of something bought but this smartphone is far from a mess and by no means did HTC make a huge mistake with that feedback which was posted on another thread which I'm glad has been closed to tell the truth. To cite those things over the UI, amount of space, front high quality speakers, the camera good or bad just to name a few which I give much more a high priority towards instead is mind boggling.
The One works for me. I hope the trend towards high quality smartphones continues.

Don't get your hopes up. You were also the same person who was parading around on MR saying that 4.2.2 would be out by May-June for the One.
