Finally someone that not only going to say "this phone is awesome"
looking forward to your impresions.its really moot to discuss this further as we have no data to support either hypothesis. however, i believe ive read the 16gb iphone is the most sold one, meaning people have no real need for more storage.
I assume the 16gb sells more because is cheaper ? I doubt that people just dont have the need for more storage unless they only use the phones for the calling and texting part, i know a friend that went from a 32gb iphone 4 to a 16gb iphone 5 and regrets it (choice was because of the price) he though 16gb was enought but turns out it doesnt. When you carry a bunch of photos and videos on your phone plus apps and music 16gb is not really much.

had to delete a bunch a while ago because of some apps updates etc, now i just use spotify on the ipad only.I assume the 16gb sells more because is cheaper ? i totally agree with you, i need at least 32gb as well and that price factors into a decision as well.
however, with no additional data one would have to assume 16gb is enough for the majority (of iphone users).
its high time 32gb becomes entry level though, especially considering it costs them probably 2 dollars more for the additional 16gb- good on htc that they did it.

Yeah will definitely post some unboxing photos, and set up photos. Will let you all know how it imports from iPhone backup's as haven't seen much coverage of that aspect.

VERY Interested in what you think MRU.....right now the HTC One is my top pick for my 2013 Android - obviously still want to see what the Phone X looks like and I have until September to make up my mind....
If the One can make it through a day on a charge with around 5-6 hours on-screen time, I'm pretty much sold......also would like to see how Sense 5 runs - I'm not opposed to slapping Nova Prime on it to get rid of it, however Blinkfeed actually sounds appealing to me (like you I'm a big Flipboard user) and would be fine with keeping it stock if there isn't any lag or noticeable issues.
If it hasn't been already posted. AT&T is releasing the One on April 19th and pre-orders go live April 4th.

Actually managed to play with a dummy of the HTC one and the Galaxy S4 when I went to get a blank nano & micro sim to swap my phones around.
Both surprised me by how thin and light they both were. Still prefer the aesthetics of the one, but the S4 is actually very nice looking in real life, better than the press shots in my opinion and doesn't look as overly plastic as press shots make you think. It was really nice. (well as real life as a dummy phone gives you).

Can't wait to give both a try in person too. Hopefully with live units. Being still relatively torn between the two devices I think in hand use will really help.
Anyone know what the usable space is on the HTC One? Say if I bought a 16 GB, how much space would I have to work with?
On the 64GB One X plus, I had 56GB usable storage and since sense 5 is supposed to be a bit slimmer, I'm assuming you'll probably have 58GB or better to work with.
I dont think all of us knew the htc one will come only in 32gb and 64gb flavors
But if it did came with a base 16gb model im 99% sure will be at 13gb usuable
I'm really excited for the HTC One especially if the iPhone 5S is released this year (it seems to be the case) and iOS 7 isn't a major upgrade from the disappointing iOS 6.

I'm planning to switch to the HTC one. I don't like how dependent I've become on jailbreaking. I routinely wind up restoring my iPhone. Once I have to and lose my jailbreak, I'm going BACK to android...to the ONE!
That is, of course, unless ios7 gives me what I want jailbreak for. (Toggles, gestures, and some widgets/live wallpaper eye candy)
Really looking forward to people's in depth impressions and feedback of the One. Don't hold back. Give us all the nitpicking details, onthecouchagain-style.
