I'm curious about the options in the LED section so can someone take screenshots and post them please. They're supposed to be located here

Here you go, it isn't much.

Yup about £103 more than when purchased from a carrier on PAYG. Plus there are reports of the black being more vulnerable to scratches/scuffing.
I got into work doing my usual with 90%.
Woah.![]()
Maybe this "battery setting in" business is the real deal. Maybe fluke. Will need more days...
How did you get the battery percentage to show in the status bar?
Here you go, it isn't much.
Am I misunderstanding you or are you talking about Settings > General > Usage > Battery percentage > turn on?
Edit: Are you talking about my screenshot? It's an iPhone 5 that's jailbroken lol. I'm using StatusTweak to move system icons to the right and notification icons (open notifier) to the left like on android.
So the iPhone 5 is better in daylight in your opinion?
I'm sorry but forcing something I don't want, giving me no option to opt out is obnoxious. And the result of this "design choice" is to clutter (if you scroll down one page in the gallery it's all Facebook photos) my gallery with pictures I don't wish to see is disgusting.
You disagree. That's fine.
T Try turning power saver on. It makes a difference.
You shouldn't have to turn on power saver to last a day. My S3 lasted a day fine without turning it on. There's people on XDA turning off LTE, basically limiting everything, to get it to last a day.
By the end of the day on my Note 2, I'm at like 15 hours of usage and 40% battery left. (no power saver on)![]()

Actually it does no harm on the One because power-saver doesn't actually kick in until the battery gets to 30% anyway even when it is turned on.
I had the Note 2 for a month...too big a phone for me. But if you will read back a little. I posted a screen shot of my One after 12 hous of use and it was at 50%. I use power saver because well....it saves power and helps my battery last longer..... In my office I don't get LTE and barely get 4G so even with that kind of radio power drain the battery still performs great! Here is the screenshot again for you....You shouldn't have to turn on power saver to last a day. My S3 lasted a day fine without turning it on. Interesting. Didn't know that. So it doesn't throttle down the CPU?
Where did you get that info? Do you have a link to it? Thanks....Actually it does no harm on the One because power-saver doesn't actually kick in until the battery gets to 30% anyway even when it is turned on.
In my experience Yes. The iphone 5's HDR mode is also more advanced.
Basically 8 mega pixel v 3.8 mega pixel.
In daylight the iPhone 5 wins everytime imho.

Easy solution.... don't scroll down
Actually I can't test this now, but give it a try. Isn't there two sign ins for facebook in accounts. Facebook for HTC and Facebook general. Sign out of Facebook for HTC and it may remove the intrusive pictures ?
HTC add any goodies to text messaging? I'm very bummed that they went with 4.1.2 as the group messaging sucks on that version, was hoping they would have sprung for 4.2.
Here you go...

Looking at your screen on time it looks like you have nearly 5 hours if you add up all the blue, so you clearly was using it very heavily that day and you were also using LTE?
Even looking at the dark area for mobile signal bar you can see it was constantly polling 4G all day.
So yeah, whilst you might not think you were using it 'that' heavily, but your phone battery stats clearly think differently. I don't think you'll get better results with most other android devices either with that level of usage, except something with a 3000+ mAh battery...
How about sharing with the rest of the class what is so bad about group messaging on 4.1.2.![]()
