I removed my phone number from my ipad and computer IMessage apps, but my wife's texts from her iphone 5 then do not get delivered to either. They were being delivered to my IPad and my Mac before I made this change.

Login in apple website and go to devices associated, if the phone still there remove it and maybe that does the trick.

I have now had this phone for 5 days. As much as I love this device, I am extremely disappointed in the battery life. I don't like the idea of having to have a charger everywhere I go. I may have to look back into the S4. :(

Am I the only one having the best battery life experienced on an android device ever with the one?

Mine isn't as great as I had with the Note II but I don't expect it to be as the Note II had a much bigger battery. I haven't done any specific tests or tracking but I'd place it somewhere between what I saw with the Nexus 4 and the Note II and about on par with the iPhone 5--pretty good but not great.

I know surprising for a HTC ;) But yeah mine is rock solid.

Power saver mode on? If so, are there any hits on real-world performance or the screen? I'm curious.

I believe power saver mode only kicks in when the phone gets down to 30% when its switched on. So doubt it will make too much difference.

(That was how it was with the One X, Sensation XE etc,, anyway).

The S4 had worse battery life for me than the one. It would routinely use between 25-40% more battery in an average day than the HTC One. Doing exact same tasks.

Does the stock browser on the One have quick controls like the AOSP browser?

Yes they do

Where exactly? I've never seen them on the HTC Browser?

Do you guys know of any good battery apps that will track my usage? I will monitor it then report back.

Go to Settings > Labs and you'll see the option for them. I had no idea they were there either until I saw the reference here and have to say, they're pretty slick and will probably have me using the stock browser going forward.

I still have 12 days to swap my S4 at target. They have been limited in getting the S4 32gigabyte so I am tempted to make the exchange to the One. After using my wife's HTC One, I am starting to appreciate the sound and design of the phone.

In my own weirdness though I prefer the feel of the s4 in my hand. It feels much lighter. Also loving the screen and I really get turned off by the slightly smaller screen of the HTC One.

How in the world do I change the apps at the bottom of the lock screen? :p

They are same as dock bar apps, so open app drawer and drag app out of dock into the app drawer and replace it with another.

If you want different apps on your lock screen from your dock - that's not possible.

Swings and roundabouts. Either device will have some compromises, just go with whatever you can live with :)

Cool thanks for that :)

Thanks! Actually you can if you don't use the stock launcher.

Doh, yep your right. :) though I actually like Sense.

Actually do you know what I discovered yesterday. Normally when you use a different launcher you can't use HTC's sense widgets.

I messed around with drodol launcher and to my surprise it allows you to use the sense widgets...

I still went back to sense, but yeah was surprised to find that they work in drodol.

Never heard of it but I hope this means in the future I'll be able to use them with Nova.

I had great battery with the ONE...easily better than the nexus 4 and iphone 5 for me.

I agree, if people are hvaing issues with the battery on the One, they have two many things running. The Nexus 4 battery was brutal and the iPhone 5 battery was just ok. I utilize the powersave feature and it really helps without diminishing the performace of the device.

Since April 12, here is a run down of my devices (I think you'll all agree, I have issues :) )
Iphone 5---> HTC One---> iPhone 5--->HTC One---> iPhone 5--->GS4--->iPhone 5---GS4---HTC One.

Think I've finally settled on the HTC One... I think ;)

You sound like me, but throw a note 2 and nexus 4 into that mix, and multiple times haha. Needless to say, I have not come out on top with my recent phone purchases.
